Hey guys. I'm feeling kind of gloomy.
Someone noted me about a recent custom I made that is really similar to one of their characters. They think I copied/referenced it for this design - but that's the problem, I had NO creative control in this custom. The person I made it for provided me exact pictures of markings and features they wanted along with color palettes corresponding to specific parts of the design and a detailed description as well. Then when this all started they took the details for the custom down. I have nothing that can prove I really didn't mean to make it look like the other person's design, but I have apologized and said that I'd be willing to change it however they want. I just don't know what to do to make everyone happy.

Does anyone have any advice?

What are your opinions on fursonas that are the opposite sex of you? I am female, and am straight, but I would love to here anyone's take on this! Oki, this is gonna be long. I care very much about this and I have a strong opinion. I think it is perfectly fine to have a fursona the opposite sex of you. I mean, look at Roman! He's my fursona (And for those that didn't know, I AM a girl most of the time. Genderfluid.) and he works perfectly for me. I think that even if you are straight and female it is perfectly fine to have a male fursona. If that character describes your personality best, then it doesn't matter if its male or female. If you're a tomboyish girl and you want a male sona, go for it! If you're a boy that likes pink and you want a female sona, go for it! You shouldn't be judged if you feel that a sona of the opposite gender describes you best. I, personally, am very tomboyish when I choose to be a girl. When I'm a boy, I'm just stupid (xD). Roman is perfect for me because he's got the stupid side of me and the side that acts like a tomboyish girl. If that is how someone chooses to represent themself, then kudos to them!

Sorry that erupted into a long rant, I just hate people judging others for acting like a different gender or for having a sona of the different gender and blah blah blah... It just really ticks me off. So there y'all go x3 A little lesson on acceptance.

absolutely a-okay! i'm female and my sexuality is demisexual/biromantic(????? i think?) who is dating another girl...but, my fursona, chio, is a male (same sexuality), who's dating a female. my other fursona, mouat, is agender and ace...and my old fursona, sergeant, was male and agender/ace.
gender shouldnt shape who you are, and it doesn't shape your personality or visions of yourself. or hopes for yourself.

What was your first character and do you still have them?
My first character that was really, really a character was Mouat. and I still have them; they're my fursona!

When did you start collecting characters?
um...years ago. not sure the exact date or anything. i've always liked characters lmao, literally always. i gave my stuffed animals and stuff personalities and backstories as a kid and i..................

Is there any character you wish you could change there palette colors?
ghhh....maybe alion? maybe. i like that color combination tho.

Which one of your characters would do best in the hunger games?
evinjorn. He's athletic, ruthless, but intelligent.

Which one of your characters would do worst in the hunger games?
None other than my fursona himself. The most dangerous thing he's ever picked up would probably be a kitchen knife. He isn't very strong, or athletic...and all he'd have going for him would be a little bit of intelligence.

What're a few hidden talents that some of your characters may have?
flynn can possess people for a few hours at a time.
shados can hack almost anything, although the time this takes severely differs based on difficulty.

Is there a general color palette / theme that most of your characters fit into??
I don't...think so, because as far as color palettes and themes go, I'm really open. I love love love natural colors, but I also loveeeeeee unnatural ones. Warm colors are my favorite, but some cold colors are also my favorites. It's so weird.

Out of all of your characters, which one would have a myspace page?
probably earth

Which of your characters is the least athletic?
Again, Chio. He doesn't exercise.

How about the most?
Bailey or, previously mentioned, Evinjorn. Bailey's a bit of a surprise, but she's a pretty typical "country girl", and is tomboyish, and does a lot of heavy lifting, running, stuff like that.

I guess I don't really care if its your fursona. I'd rather have my main fursona be a girl since I'm a girl, and I want to to represent me. Sort of?? My first characters were just paper drawings that I would draw and RP as, but those are really old. I had them when I was like 7 so I guess I don't. But I do have my first digital character still
