I just had a vision and I had to put it before me...and it hurt my hands very much.

I actually did 4 sets; Male, Female, Subadult male, and Subadult female.

Currently Shown: Adult Male

I'll post more info on these guys later, I have to do that color and shade layers now...er...later, when I've resurrected my poor hand.

Species Name: Aakern Hound
Pronounce: Ah-kurn (“ah” like achoo, “kurn” like kernel)
Height: 2.8 – 3.0 ft
Weight: 60 – 170 pounds

Morphs:
Adults and Juveniles: Adult Aakern Hounds have a crest of feathers along the top of their head, while juveniles lack this crest.
[u]Males and Females:[/b] Male Aakerns have a large plume of feathers as well as two long display feathers, while females lack this plume. The plume seems to be used for courtship as well as aggressive posturing before engaging in a fight with other males.

I finished all of the colors layers up, so now I have to figure out shading and such, I am contemplating hiring someone else to do the shading, so if anyone is interested let me know

Whew! I went with some simplistic shading so as to not distort designs. I also did a simple greyscale BG so that it's not too distracting but not too bland. I'll finish it up a wee bit, and then start working on the main post
