Cole just rolled his eyes and pushed her back out of his room. "Then go to bed." He retorted.

Madison nodded, flipping the page again.

Juni waited until a good bunch of wolves had emerged from the den, fighting over the bait. A huge wolf on the side was sitting and staring right at her, but she took no notice and threw a grenade on top of the wolves. In a split second before it went off, she fell, and it exploded. She fell to the ground and groaned, but she wasn't hurt. She stood up and looked at the big wolf again, who seemed to nod at her before she sprinted away. After a moment she stopped, confused. She stomped on the ground. No sound. She couldn't hear anything.

SOREN
Soren blinked each eye in turn before frowning at Cole. "That's m-mean!" She growled, punching him in the shoulder. She yawned a bit and shook her head, beginning to come out of her weird, sleepy state.

ROSE

Rose made her food and sat down next to Madison, sitting in Soren's spinning computer chair. She spun around in small circles, stopping herself every once in a while by poking her leg out and hitting Madison's knee.

Cole shrugged and closed his door.

Madison playfully tapped her back each time, still lost in his book but with a smirk on his face.

Juni sprinted back, panting. Why couldn't she hear anything? Was she too close to the explosion? Why did she not wear ear protection like Coke instructed? She was panicking as she walked back into the base, sitting down at the kitchen table and pretending she was fine.

SOREN

The girl turned to Juni and smiled a bit, almost fully awake. "Sup Juni! Where were you so early in the morning?" She asked cocking her head to the side.

ROSE

Rose frowned as she turned around each time, not knowing what was poking her in the back. "Is that you Madison?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Is what me?" He asked smoothly, flipping a page in his book and biting his fingertip again.

Juni hears nothing but a hum. She took a minute to read her lips, making out the words. "Oh! I was just hunting." She said, her voice slightly warped.

SOREN
Soren nodded slowly and eyed Juni. "Oh... Well okay.." She murmured, scratching the back of her head before going into her room.

ROSE
"Something keeps poking my back!" She grumbled quietly, watching Madison. "So are ya doing it or not?" Rose asked with a small smile.

Madison eyes Juni. "Are you ok?" He asked. Juni, however, wasn't facing him. She didn't know he was talking to her. "Juni." He said. "Juni!" He snapped in her face and she looked at him, eyes wide. "Yes?" She said, the word drawn out. "Can you hear me?" He asked in disbelief. She took a second to read his lips before nodding, attempting to lie to him. "Juni, what did you do?" He asked slowly. She sighed and played with her fingers. "I was too close to a grenade." She mumbled. "Can you hear anything?" She blinked before nodding.

Rose furrowed her brow softly and watched Juni. She tipped her head to the side while her eyes shone in concern. "So she can hear us? Or no?..."
