So I was messing around on a joke app and I saw this one:

"If you take an Oriental person and spin them around several times, do they become disoriented?"
I thought about this for a while, thinking that being Oriental was a religion, and thought it might be disgraceful, like showing up to church drunk, basically.
I asked my mom this and she agreed, but when I asked my dad he launched into a whole speech about how it's actually kinda racist to call someone of Asian descent Oriental, because it refers more to a place then a religion or a race(unintentional rhyme). Good parenting, Dad. Without that lesson I would've gotten a lot of really mean looks, I bet.
