I read an interesting theory on Dagur, but if you aren't caught up to the current RTTE episodes, than it might be a spoiler to say.

Alright, well...
The Theory only goes into the Potential backstory for the Characters in it.
I'll make the text transparent, so that anyone stumbling across the thread who isn't caught up doesn't get things spoiled.

Aaannndddd, Go:

Basically, the theory goes that Heather and Dagur were separated as kids because the Beserker tribe was verging on war; and Because their chief was "Oswald the Agreeable", He gave Heather away to prevent war. As Dagur got older, he grew to resent his father for giving up Heather, which with time, fueled his Takeover of the Beserker tribe.

So, in RTTE, when Heather talks about Dagur destroying her "home", it's because Dagur was looking for her to reclaim her as his Sister. But, She was to young when it happened so she doesn't know that Dagur is her brother, hence why she's out for his blood.


I'll make it a point to say, again, that this is a fan theory I read on Tumblr, and is in no way a comfirmed canon.
