The night was dark as she wandered down,
She went to the graveyard to think for a time,
Past the park in the centre of town,
Down to the stone of her old Uncle Ryne,With a full moon hanging high 'bove her head,
it was a month her uncle had been dead,
Loving memories still lingered, fresh
from the last time she'd seen him, alive in the fleshShe sighed and moaned and wept for awhile,
Then culled nearby flowers and covered the grave,
She laid them out pretty in Josephine style,
Then thought back again wishing Ryne she could save,She wiped the tears from her cheek,
wishing the night wasn't as bleak.
if only she could see him again,
it might just ease the unbearable pain. With a rumble the stone that she sat on did split,
And Josephine leapt to her feet as emerged,
Her Ryne, and he spoke with a mouthful of spit,
“Howdy!” he chortled. “You called, so I heard?”Josephine found she was frozen in place,
Stuck staring at her uncle Ryne's dirty face.
She suddenly felt like she wanted to scream,
This couldn't be real, it must be a dream,“Dang it!” Ryne shouted and pulled at his hair,
As Josie then tumbled down dead,
“I knew this would happen!” his shout split the air,
And he smashed his dead fist through his head,He’d dumbly ignored the other ghosts' advice,
And now he had paid the price,
He headed back into his grave, face grim,
Realising his niece would join him
The world is quiet here.
