hmm. while it is unfortunate that veer shut down, seeing that
it'd been simple to use, there are other website that work as
well? there's 1001fonts. which is not as nice, but it has the few
basic things and some really nice script fonts!! there is also a
site called 1001freefonts which is basically the same as the
previous site stated.
then there is fontmeme. this site is actual gold? it's the closest
thing to veer too because you can actually play around with the
url if you go about getting the image properly!! i'm gonna just
list the steps really quick that way it isn't confusing, even though
this may seem a tad asinine, as well as blatant?
+just click download fonts in the upper right corner
+browse around through the categories, then choose your font!
+then you hit generate (which is kinda obvious?) to make sure it
is exactly how you want
+last make sure to hit image url, that way you get the proper
url which you can make adjustments to!!
in addition to this, fontmeme also has the same little images that
veer did!! they're labeled under dingbats, and to get to them, you
just scroll down to the bottom of the "download fonts" page, and
select dingbats from the section titled, "all font categories"!!
so yeah.
there are a lot of alternatives to veer!! i hope this helps you guys
somewhat and that it wasn't just me droning on about stuff you
maybe knew??
edit:
btw, rest in peace for good veer. you'll be lost i guess.

well i found out that myfonts.com almost has every veer font if you know what to search for.
the only problem is that you can't edit the url yourself. you'll have to change the sizes and
stuff from the website and then copy the image link c:
a lot of the popular fonts such as sudestada and wallflowers and stuff like that are all on
there so it's really very handy.

yeahh, i love myfonts, but the sad part is that these
images are just pure samples, therefore in a few day
s' time, the image urls don't exist any longer and sho
w up the same way some veer images now do with t
he broken image "pic".
i use imgur to upload the font images right after i finish my forms
so they don't disappear. it is slightly more work but i mean it works so c:

well i mean there are soo many websites with the exact same
veer fonts. like if you search up the name of the font from veer
on google, you can find a bunch of websites you can use. so the
question is, are all of those copyrighted fonts as well or what?
i mean it seriously makes no sense for them to write that when
there are multiple websites with the same fonts that are allowing
users to use them without samples.
