Wings of Fire: The Darkest Hour (Not Accepting)

"What head did he have to begin with?" Taleweaver hissed, and watched as Gale resumed injuring himself. "GALE! WE ALL KNOW YOUR INNER INSANITY, NOW SHUT UP OR GET YOUR ASS KICKED!"

Rift's mouth twitched as it wanted to smile at Taleweaver's threat. However, another tremor rattled the dungeon, and his grin faltered, only to be replaced by a grimace of pain as it threw him off his talons without the proper support of his right leg. He landed on his infirmity and it seared with agony. He gritted his teeth, though, and sucked it up.

Gale paused again when he heard Taleweaver, then foamed at the mouth and beat his wings against the bars. too. "ALL OUR ASSES ARE KICKED! THEY'RE ALL KICKED!"

Sidewinder-
Sidewinder felt another tremor hit and she was knocked off of her feet. Grimacing, she glared down the corridor at Gale with her only eye. "If I free you will you SHUT THE HELL UP?!?" she barked, getting back on her talons and racing along the hallway, wanting to get out of the damn place as soon as possible.

Reaper-
Reaper withdrew his barb from the lock, which was slick with blood and was punctured with several small cuts. Venom was oozing steadily out, and blood and venom filled the keyhole. But the PAIN. There was so MUCH OF IT! He seldom suffered from barb injuries, and they hurt like freaking hell, but this one was downright nasty. "FREE ME TOO, ass!!!" he snarled at Sidewinder.

Gale snapped his mouth shut and stared expectantly at the SandWing, tail flicking and eyes widening.

Taleweaver growled at the SandWing, "Free us, too, or else we're all going to be dead. There's a prophesied dragon in here, I tell you! Him! He of the prophecy!"

Rift shuffled his talons and felt his face heat. "...Er, it's true," he said sheepishly.

[AGGUA!]

Sidewinder- Reaper-
Sidewinder whirled around to glare at Taleweaver. "I don't give a damn who dies," she hissed. "Not even your little prodigy in there. Look where that accursed prophecy's gotten us. It left me with nothing... NOTHING. I had to give it all up and I was thrown in this hellhole with the likes of YOU. SO NO THANKS. Why don't you free yourself with your 'oh so special' nightwing powers?!" She turned her back on the two, slinking over to Gale's cell and inserting her barb into the keyhole. She let out a loud howl when she felt something as cold as ice slam into her spine. She turned around slowly, glaring at the nightwing hybrid. "You free ALL of us," he hissed. The sandwing didn't reply, instead fiddling with the lock with her gaze still trained on him. "And if I don't?" she challenged. Reaper didn't reply, glaring heatedly at Sidewinder.

Taleweaver narrowed her gaze to slits. "Either you free us, or you'll die too. And either you're the most ignorant buffoon I've ever met, or you should know that NightWing powers don't mean you're an animus."

Gale waited for the click as the SandWing fiddled with the lock, then when it finally happened, spread his immense wings and took off, cackling and hooting, "I'M FINALLY FREEEE!" Then he remembered his promise to Sidewinder, turned his neck around while still moving, saluted, and flew ever faster.

Rift was still gazing at Torrent, hoping, at least, that she would be one of the last things he saw. Not his friends. They deserted him, left him to die. After all, that was what was in the prophecy...

[AGGUA!]

Sidewinder-
Sidewinder rolled her eyes all the way up to the ceiling when Gale tore off running. Saving these buffoons would take some time, and she didn't know how much of it she had. So, there were two options; flee, like she OUGHT TO DO, and be sensible. What made these dragons any different from her damn tribe, anyway? Then she realized she was acting just like them; they had left her to fend for herself, left her with NOTHING. And she was to leave them? No. Without speaking, she sprinted back down the corridor to the back cell containing Taleweaver and Rift, jamming her barb into the keyhole and avoiding the gaze of the nightwing.

Reaper-
"HEY, ME NEXT!!!" Reaper snapped, rubbing his bloody barb against the stone in an attempt to clean it off. He gritted his teeth in pain, sealing his eyes shut and wincing.

Rift broke his stare to glance at the bars of the cage, where the SandWing had come to unlock them. He didn't smile or crack a joke like he normally would, but kept thinking about how his 'friends' could possibly forget about him in a time like this. His eyes aimed at the ground, he slowly shuffled over to the bars, ready to go free, but with his ears drooping.

Taleweaver smirked with satisfaction. Now Foreseer had more than one formidable opponent, that was for sure.

Gale stopped outside and hovered for a while, tasting the fresh, cool air and lapping it up. He didn't take notice of the phenomenons taking place around him, but spiraled upward, bursting flame everywhere with his ascent. "FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" he howled, zipping away, aiming for the mountains.

Hope sighed in frustration. She had gotten lost following Snowstorm and Pharaoh. Walking through a narrow opening, she perked up at the sound of a dragon yelling. She followed the sound and came to a cave with cages lining the perimeter. Spotting Rift, she dashed over to him. Before talking to him, she glared at the SandWing."Who the hell are you?"

[AGGUA!]

Sidewinder-
Sidewinder glared. "Out of the way, missy," she snapped, raising her talons and and slamming them into Hope's neck, knocking her roughly aside. There was a click and she wrestled her barb out of the lock, yanking the cell open. "Now get lost. Get the hell out of here before the damn queen figures out what I've done, alright?" She raced back down the corridor to Torrent's and Beluga's cell, beginning to work on that one, all the while keeping her gaze trained on the floor beneath her. It was still rumbling, but the tremors were starting to calm down slightly.

Rift dropped down, holding his talons over his head. The last thing he wanted was to see one of them. "The dragon who's letting us free," he replied flatly. He tugged on his ears in stress. "Kill me now," he moaned. "Why couldn't I just be a normal SeaWing?" He started as Sidewinder knocked the RainWing away, and lethargically walked out of the cell.

Taleweaver tilted her head at him. "Hey, aren't you going to leave?" she asked, giving the SeaWing a nudge.

"No. I have to wait for Torrent," Rift replied firmly.
