what is a salmon squad?

No this isn't an event or the summer event, its basically a staff litter for the General Helpers. Usually the staff do a litter in September where each of them makes their own outcome for a dog litter using a specific color pallet. They can give the dog any lineart edits they like. This litter is the same thing, except for the General Helpers because we do not get to make a dog for the regular staff litter. The actual summer event will probably happen sometime in July. The 'Salmon Squad' is just the name we (the General Helpers) have been calling ourselves for a while, referring to the color of our usernames being salmon.

It would really suck if one time the team members decided to give out each other's clues (i.e. ZEL would give Celozon's clues, Aaron✦ would give Simon's, Cel would give Aaron✦'s, lucky would give ZEL's, etc.) and we would both be confuzzled because the clues don't match the team member's style and just in general that's a very troll-ish game to play :3
