Lily ran until she felt like she couldn't anymore. Deep in the forest, her brother's scent gone now from the air, Lily found herself in a small empty cave. She walked into the cold damp rock and curled up. Alone like usual, Lily cried herself to sleep.

It took all of his willpower not to break down then and there.
Unfortunately, he didn't have a whole lot.
The deer slowly leaned down until he was bent at the waist, shoulder's shaking as if he was sobbing.
But in reality, he was just laughing his ass off silently.
After a long while, he calmed and stood straight again whilst rubbing his eyes.
"Aha... That's funny... You said 'if'...."

It was meant to be sarcastic, but as the words came out, her chest did kind of hurt for a moment.

He did the same, embracing her as if she were a pillow.
Often, the halfling snored like a beat.
But this time, his breathing was soft and even.
Maggie had a calming effect, he supposed...

Nico nodded and began to walk. He used his nose to search for the stale scent of them by the tree. But it seems as if it wasn't needed, he managed to find his way just by memory. Bitter sweet memory. He looked up at the thick tree remembering their first meeting. "Ok. We're gonna need some wood." He started, chuckling as he glance at all the trees around him.
