"As you know, Ravenwing will not be around forever," Tempeststar meowed, reciting the words that many leaders before him had. "So it is time she took and apprentice. Sweetkit, do you accept the post of apprentice to Ravenwing?"

Dragonsong flicked her tail. I was wondering when she'd get an apprentice. We're getting older, and if Ravenwing is to teach a new cat all of the things they must learn then its about time she got an apprentice.

Ambergaze and Oddpaw sat, looking up.

Foxbark shut up and leaned against Dragonsong as Sweetkit walked up.

Wolfsnarl paid no attention to the ceremony, keeping watch from the wall.

Twistedstar sat next to her mate, letting him speak.

(When Ravenwing goes to sleep she'll receive the prophecy from Wildstar)

"Then by the powers given to me by the Dark Forest, I name you Sweetpaw. At the halfmoon you will travel to the Dark Pool with Ravenwing to be accepted by your ancestors," Tempeststar finished.

Dragonsong twirled her tail with Foxbark's. "Sweetpaw! Sweetpaw!" she called.

Sunpaw and Snakepaw joined in the chant. "Sweetpaw! Sweetpaw!"

Tempeststar raised his paws for silence. "One of our apprentices has proven his strength, loyalty and courage to the new WildClan." Tempeststar nodded to Leafwisp who was smiling proudly. "Oddpaw, step forward."

Ravenwing padded forward and touched noses with her new apprentice, excitement in her eyes. Despite her age, she was truly thrilled about this adventure. She then sat beside Sweetpaw as Tempeststar went on with the ceremony.

((Sorry for my absence- I was told there would be internet during my trip, but there wasn't. Dawnpaw could be made a warrior, if you want, either way works for me. Has anything other than this meeting happened since I was last on?))

Oddpaw's eyes widened, stepping forward. He assumed that he was of-age to be made a warrior, but to be honest, he'd never really thought of his future at all once the camp was taken over. The odd-eyed tom just assumed he'd have his -paw name forever.

He has trained hard and proven his loyalty, I commend him to you as a Warrior in his turn," Tempeststar looked down at Oddpaw. "Oddpaw, do you promise to uphold the Warrior Code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"
