Rainstar was about to call for another warrior or two to go assist but stopped in her tracks as Thornclaw entered with the rest of his patrol. "First thing's first, injuries need to get treated." she meowed sternly. "Straight to Mouseleaf and Fawnpaw with the lot of you."

The tom watched as the ragtag group of warriors and apprentices entered the camp; theyes looked pretty roughed up for the most part, which made his blood boil. "That does it - I volunteer to go after them!" he announced, feeling the need to do something to help out.

What happened to you?" he asked pawing at the dark pink spots of blood In her coat "Slate and Dad happened but dont worry Im fine"She mewed reassuringly to her brother as she licked his cheek and padded into the den infront of her with Badgerpaw.

"I appreciate your enthusiasm but you very well can't go after them alone. I'm not sure going after them would be wise. By the sound of it we came out fairing better than they did." Rainstar said to Sandbranch. "I believe Thornclaw said there was a body? We need to bury it or move it off territory so it doesn't attract foxes looking for an easy meal. And so our territory doesn't end up smelling like crowfood."

"O-oh okay!" Snowpaw trotted after Smokycloud. She parted her jaws to take in the scents of the area. Nope no Spottedpaw. She must've gotten separated further back.

"Gah wait.. I'm still-" Sparrowclaw started to reverse down the tree. "I'm still in the tree." As touched solid ground he immediately bounded forward to catch up with Smokycloud and Snowpaw. "Got it. I'm good."

The young she-cat, bring new to the clan and all, hadn't the best idea as to where in the forest she was relative to the camp. Therefore, she decided her safest option was probably to stay where she was and wait for the others to find her.

Overall, it did look like it was a battle the patrol had won. "And if Thornclaw's fine enough, he should come along as well. You did say you were family, right?" he queried, the last part directed towards the warrior in question.
