Amari returned to massaging Quiach's lower stomach.

Quaich; After a "long" time, the second pup appears beside her in the grass. She turns to lick it and notices how still it is. She nudges it with her nose and it doesn't move. She tastes something bitter in her mouth. "Stillborn." She says sadly.

[morrissey]

Blood started to trickle down from Amari's leg from where Quiach bit her. The female shook off the pain, however. She had originally a litter of two, and her second pup never made it to adolcelence.

Quaich; She notices Amari's leg. "Oh, I'm sorry!" She says as the third pup rolls around inside her stomach.

Havoro:

She-wolves. Why did he even bother? With a few painful bone cracks, he lifted himself up. "Would seem that I am not wanted. I suppose I will go back to my den and keep praying I don't wake up."

[morrissey]

"It's fine," Amari said through gritted teeth. "The third should come out easily. Quite a small mite."

[redhorizon]

Quaich; She rolls her eyes and makes eye contact with Amari as if to say "Can you believe this guy?". She sighs as the final pup wriggles in the grass beside her. She licks the two living pups lovingly as she feels her strength returning.

Havoro:

He snarled as he walked away. They seem to think he was deaf, but he heard that loud and clear. It would seem you have exceeded your usefulness, he thought, bitterly.

[morrissey]

Amari chuckled. "A female," she said, nudging the other one. "She's a beautiful white lady. She takes after her fa-" Amari paused and looked away, not wanting to mention the rouge father of the pups.

[redhorizon]

Quaich; "That she is. Very tiny. Sadly, I won't be able to raise her. Her or her brother. What shall I name them, Amari?" She smiles, ignoring the mention of the father.
