Shia clicked her tongue, flying close to his bird. She'd been watching to make sure it didn't drop him. "Language."

"You try waking up a million feet up in the air." His breath was still shallow from the fright. "See how you like it."
It actually looked like she loved it.
"Hmm. Uh, have you seen my staff?"

Shia rolled her eyes. "Point taken." She gestured towards Sapphire with one hand. "Saph's got it, I believe." She watched him carefully for a moment. "Are you alright? You look a little shaken up..."

Ferondir followed her gesture, and listened. "Yeah. Well, except for the elevation thing."
He looked at her. "Why didn't you help me back there?"

Shia hadn't expected that. "... What?" She looked at him, confused. She felt a little bad, even though she had no idea what he was talking about. "When?"

"When I threw up that ward." A thought occurred to him. "Have I taught you how to assist?"

Sapphire noticed ferondir wake and Shia motion towards her. "O-oh, sorry, um. Here you go. Um, one moment. Loftwing, could you please hand me the staff? C-carefully, please." Sapphire didn't want the loftwing to mimic what the other one did with Ferondir to get it up to her. It gently grabbed the staff in its beak, then turned to hand it to her. She grabbed it, and felt a weird tingling sensation. She shivered at the odd feeling, and directed her Loftwing over to Ferondir. She was careful to not bump Ferondir's or Shia's loftwing's wings. She held out the staff, handle towards Ferondir. She cringed slightly at the end of the staff touching her wrist. She usually distanced herself from anything magic, so anything that had magic in it felt weird. She kept reaching out, though, refusing to drop the staff.

Shia glanced at him, slightly annoyed. I've never had a teacher before, how was I supposed to know how to do that?! "No, you haven't, so I don't see how I could've helped..." She wasn't particularly upset, just slightly irritated. She blinked when Sapphire came over, looking at the zora. "Oh. Hey, Saph."

He stretched out and grabbed the staff, noticing how it distorted the zora's song. Interesting.
Once he was stable again, he gave her a smile. "Thank you."
He looked back to Shia.
"Remind me to teach you later."
