Cloudgaze jumped a bit at Leopardstripe voice. The mud had covered his scent so she hadn't even realized he was there until he spoke. "Y-Yeah." She stammered as she slowly calmed back down. The queen stood up only to sit back down once she got to the tom and started working on getting his fur clean.

Wildflight flicked an ear to show that he heard Rabbitfur's response before he headed for the camp entrance himself. He continued on outside of camp and began to lead the smaller cat in the direction he intended for them to start out in. "A border patrol might help settle some nerves." The deputy murmured his earlier thought out loud just to kill the silence. He didn't really expect much of a response but it would be nice to get some sort of conversation going.

Darkswift lays down on a branch above the camp as he looked up at the stars. His chin was place against the branch as his front right leg and back left leg hang while his others limbs as almost there. His tail lay back behind him as his bright blue eyes shine with the moonlight. He only had one scar and it was one his right side. He still could see but it showed him he had to work harder. His ear flicks back as he looks down at the clan.

Leopardstripe started again at getting the mud out of his fur. "I think--" he was going to comment about how Stripestar laughed when he tripped, but she didn't need that drama. He finally got one section of his fur cleaned up and he sighed with relief. "Sorry if I startled you. I just can't stand feeling as sticky as I feel right now." He purred, trying to get her to smile. He knew, that even if she did, he wouldn't see it, but it would make him feel so much better. It would make him feel so much better, if Cloudgaze wasn't blind, and she didn't have to worry about things she shouldn't all the time. He wished she would be happy. He wished he could make all the drama in her world go away, away forever. He wished he could help her figure out who murdered her beloved son, but... He was blind. He would trace down the scent, but there were no swamps in Thornclan territory. He nuzzled Cloudgaze. "I'm sorry you're going through this. If I had the choice, I would take this all away. I would make you happy again."
