Stripestar looks at her as his ears flatten. He wrap his tail around her and mews. "Cloudgaze I wish I could have been able to do something."

"Of course." Leopardstripe licked her ears, then went off to get her kits. "Come with me, please." He said to the kits.

She let out a sigh of relief , if she had stayed a second longer leaopardstripe might have come out of the den and smelt her.

Rabbitfur was only becoming more and more uncomfortable, especially at the mention of bringing more cats in there. And Mallowkit... He looked down at Mousekit's unmoving body, confused yet somehow intrigued how something once full of life was now the complete opposite, and he half-expected the kit to jump to his paws and laugh about how he'd fooled everyone into believing he'd died. But it wouldn't happen. The metalic scent of blood promised this.
"Take all the time you need. I'll wait for you outside." His voice was gruff, but sympathetic for the family, and he turned and exited to give the kits space.

Cloudgaze knew that all the talk in the world wouldn't bring Mousekit back. She just wanted to mourn in silence for a while.

Icekit came to Leopardstripe's beckon without a word of complaint. Like Skykit, she was already fully aware of her brother's death and so she was keeping quiet. Plus she had the guilt of knowing just who was responsible for his death that clawed at her pelt.

Leopardstripe lead the kits into the medicine den and lead them to Cloudgaze. He put muzzle into Mousekit's fur again.
