Shade Wings are winged cats that seem to live off an aura around their paws. They also have eight stones on their bodies. Five at the base of their tails, one on each thigh, and one on their foreheads. These stones seem to contain their aura as well, for they are the same color. Aura is notably the same color as a Shade Wing's eyes. Shade Wings appear to be born with black eyes that gain color when they age. This is thought because Shade Wing kit's auras are all black. Some Shade Wings have multi-colored auras. These Shade Wings are odd-eyed, meaning each eye is a different color.

Shade Wings live deep in the forest and have a three stage aging system. They are a kit for two days, a teen for three days, and an adult for at least a month. After that, they are vulnerable to natural deaths and diseases. When a Shade Wing dies, it is still there, just in the form of aura. In this form they are translucent and not even solid. Death can happen by fights, natural disasters, diseases, pollution, poison, old age, falling trees, fire and car crashes.

We will try to put out at least one Shade Wing each week. Events happen for holidays and some are random, like the Phantom Event. The random events will most likely only happen once, so snatch up those Shade Wings if you can!

There is also a Shade Wing Pound. This is for Shade Wings that have been up for adoption for one month without any forms filled out for them. After a month in the pound as an adult, Shade Wings are released to the wild and never seen again. Code for a Pound Shade Wing:

Shade Wings may be a wild species, but that doesn't mean we can't create them! Customs have an extra stage: the egg. Since they are made by SCIENCE, they need a few days to become genetically stable. These few days are the three day egg stage. Customs can be any color and pattern. They cost either two uncommons from at least a year ago, four commons from at least a year ago, eight very commons from at least a year ago, or 2C$ to pay the scientists for creating this life for you. ARTIST RULES
You must make at least one Shade Wing a month!
You may not make Shade Wings have blood/gore, but scars are fine!
You may redo a Shade Wing and give the redo a different winner than the original!
You may do free custom giveaways!
You may not pick winners on other artist's Shade Wings!
You may claim up to four Shade Wings you make, not including breeding among these four!
You may breed your own Shade Wings and create the kits if one of them is put up for adoption!
You may not breed your own Shade Wings without paying a random artist, even if you make the kits!
You may give/trade your Shade Wings to others, and this rule goes for all!
You may make events!
You may not have run two events at once, but two different artists can have an event at once!

Yep this is a thing now. One common pet to any artist buys one potion of the specified kind.

Gender Potions - These can change the gender of a Shade Wing from male to female/female to male.
PPS Potions - These grant your Shade Wing with PPS. This Shade Wing will never grow.
Larger Litter Potion - These make your Shade Wing's litter when breeding to have 1.5 more kittens, meaning a litter of 4 would have 6, a litter of three would have 4. This can exceed the maximum kit limit, so a litter of 6 would have 9.
