Rabbitfur watched him, also smelling the vole. But not wanting to get in the way of his hunt, he tried hunting elsewhere, findinga grove just a little ways off where the trees grew so densely, the rain was blocked ... for the most part. He scented a jay nearby, scratching at the dampened ground for worms. Now was his chance. He stalked closer, keeping low to the ground until he felt he was within leaping range. He waited for the bird to busy itself in worm-digging before he pounced, pressing his paws down over the bird, trapping it beneath him. He killed it swiftly and, gathering the shrew he caught earlier, carried his prey items back to where he'd last seen One-eye.

One-eye, in that time, had caught a vole and mouse. He picked them both up, grinning.

"What is it?" Thrushleap asked, sitting down and curling her tail around her paws. She was still shaken up.

Gingerpaw followed Rustpelt's scent trail and realized she was hunting. He decided, that he would hunt also.

"Because he is." Goose meowed as Ice squealed, batting her brother in the face. No! Share food-giver.

Stripestar looked at her then let out a small sigh. "I do like you. I just at the moment I feel like I am losing my family because of Leopardstripe. He keeps getting closer and closer to my kits and my mate and its getting to me." His ears flatten as he sat up straight.
