"What kit isn't looking forward to their apprentice ceremony?" He shifted his gaze towards the nursery, beginning to wonder if the fight from earlier was the cause of this. "I've never heard of this before. Anxious, maybe. Nervous, yes. But not looking forward?"

"No, I'm not looking forward to it," Mallowkit mewed, shaking out her fluffy white fur.

The warrior felt his patience begin to deminish.
"Well, what makes you say that? When my brother and I were kits, we could hardly contain our excitement. Did someone say something to you to make you dread this?"

"No," Mallowkit mewed, shrugging. "I just don't."

Rabbitfur shook his head, unable to believe this kit. What, did she wish to be a loner when she grew up?
"Well ... perhaps you want to train as a medicine cat instead? What is it that makes it unappealing for you?" He took another bite of the bird, swallowing it hungrily.

Thinking she had gone back to camp Honeydream went to go hunting with Rabbitfur. Catching a fair amount despite the storm. Now she was back in camp waiting to see were she could help out...
