Mallowkit exited the nursery cautiously. She ran for the nearest warrior, whom happened to be Rabbitfur. "Hiiii!"

Rabbitfur's ears went up at the sound of a kit's squeak. He turned, setting his paw down. Fantastic. He flicked an ear, watching it through narrowed yellow-green eyes.
"Good day, Mallowkit," he greeted flatly. "Aren't you supposed to be inside the nursery with the other little furballs..." His stomach grumbled and he glanced at the freshkill pile, feeling his mouth water.

"No. Thrushleap and Leopardstripe were fighting and they're annoying," Mallowkit mewed, sitting down beside the tom. She wasn't the most playful kit.

[Nebelung]

"Oh?" Rabbitfur glanced towards the nursery, narrowing his eyes even further. "I see." That wasn't a way to act in front of a kit. Take your quarrels outside camp and settle them there. At least, that's how he felt. He turned back to the prey pile and scooped out a mourning dove, setting it down between he and the kit. "I don't suppose you're on solid foods yet?" the tom asked gruffly, bending down to pluck a few feathers before spitting them out to the side.

"I am!" Mallowkit mewed, prodding the bird.

[Nebelung]

His whiskers twitched. Had she not been fed yet? The code said all kits and queens must be fed before the warriors may eat.
"Then, by all means..." He took another mouthful of feathers between his teeth and yanked them from the bird before offering it to her.

Mallowkit pricked the bird, pulling it closer. She flicked a few feathers away before taking a bite of the bird.

[Nebelung]

He eased himself down in a crouch, looking over towards the nursery. He didn't hear anything at the moment. But he wasn't about to go over and see. He didn't have time to get into petty little arguments. He had a Clan to care for.
"Enjoy. I'm about to go out hunting again anyway." He absently nudged a few feathers aside with his forepaw.

Mallowkit slid it back towards Rabbitfur. "It's all yours," she mewed, folding her paws under her chest. "I'm not that hungry, anyway."

[Nebelung]

Rabbitfur blinked at the kit, tilting his head slightly. This kit was peculiar. But at least he got to eat now. He pulled the bird towards himself and started plucking more feathers off before he eventually tore into it. Delicious... As he ate, he faced the kit again, ears twitching thoughtfully. "Are you eager to become an apprentice of ThornClan sometime soon?"
