Because wolves are going to stop world hunger, overpopulation, child labor, global warming, mass pollution, war and, of course, by saving a non-endangered species, we'll find a cure for cancer and AIDS, right?

Have to agree with horselovingdog. ^
Most wolves aren't endangered, and people exaggerate the peril they're in. The gray wolf is listened as "Least Concern." Speaking only of issues with animal endangerment, there are many other species that need more help than wolves. That being said, the red wolf is critically endangered (and the red wolf isn't even purely wolf; it's a mix between a coyote and a wolf). You'll have to be more specific about what you want to save if you want to save it, because it sounds like your talking about all wolves.

WolfLoverBec wrote:But many wolves are endangered, the are good for the environment because they eat carcasses of dead animals. Nobody said wolves would solve cance so stop being so ignorant

When you tell us (or rather, horselovingdog) this, I sincerely hope you have done you're own research on the topic of wolf endangerment; not only that, but you do sound like you are suppressing their opinion (and when I say "their," I am assuming you are speaking to horselovingdog, because I said nothing of the sort about cancer.) Not only that, but even I clarified that there are some species of wolves that are endangered.
In addition to this, bringing logic into a thread should not be a concern. Perhaps you need to reassess your meaning of the word, and also your spelling of what "mesning" might be. Horselovingdog was simply emphasizing what Wolves 'N Waffles said at the beginning of the thread: "We need to save wolves, Canis Lupus, and by doing that, we can save the world". That is an incorrect statement. Saving wolves (and which wolves, you'd have to specify), will not save the world. It might help save ecosystems, but not the world. Furthermore, neither of us said wolves were mean, nor unworthy of conservation efforts, or anything that you seem to assume. I politely ask you to please correct yourself before you attempt to correct others; it's you who is being ignorant.

It's completely okay. I understand the point of this thread and agree that wolves are incredible animals, helpful to the environment and worthy of conservation efforts when endangered. The only point of my first post on this thread was that she (Wolves 'N Waffles) was being pretty vague about her points. Back on the topic of this thread, what wolf species do you like most?
