    @p a r a в a т a ι.;
    now, the concept is good, but it would be hard to actually execute the idea of a 'veteran coding only' chat.
    it would be like the advanced DCAY - which went down in flames. it basically left others out, whereas the
    community is supposed to be all together and inclusive. plus, people would fret if their coding is... hm,
    'good enough' for the 'veteran coders' thread. i don't think it's the greatest idea...
    it's just my opinion, though!

    @gods;
    ah, i'd love to see the stream, but i always get so finicky when watching something for too long! maybe i'll
    pop in next time! :>

    Going to echo Jyushimatsu here.

    There can truly be no place for veteran coders, if you want to see physical examples, look at the advanced DCAY thread which was closed because mods want everyone to be on the same wavelength. The only thing I have to my name is that I help on Digitally Distinct and that is where I stay, and I try and help anyone I can. That is what I found myself to do, as a veteran coder.

    Veteran coders need to find their place in the coding community. There is a point where the Sig Fanclub cannot be service to them as much as it once could be. This is the same with any other signature based thread in existence, hell any coding thread. I think the veteran status is as follow: You know enough that you can help people fluently. Veterans will find more engagement for their own signatures in Signature Criticism and Signature Respect. In addition, they are more than welcome to help out on the DD thread and if anything, encouraged to do so since their expertise is more than welcome.

    This thread originally have a raffle which is directed to veteran coders, however this has seemingly lost interest.

    Previously, there was community who put all veterans in a thread and made a contest to see who had the best signature, this didn't float for long though. I might check with mods and see if this can be done again, with there being prizes. I will run it and won't enter it, and somehow try and get a list pet as a prize for the best signature. This can be held every 6 months or so, and we can go from there. This might be an idea we should be looking towards in regards to veterans.

    I can understand the frustration. I was able to find my place in the community, but there are a ton more who want that too. I cannot accommodate everyone, but man I can try.

    So... Maybe the only suggestion is to run signature contests which are vote based. If it is controlled enough, while being open to everyone being able to apply, it will help with the veteran issue.

    @Jyu @Zey
    Ah, I see your guys' points. I hand't heard of that other thread, but it sounds like things didn't go too well. I suppose it was worth a shot. ^.^ Also, I think the idea of a veteran raffle-type contest thing would be nice!

Heeeey remember me? No? Probably not lmao

just wanted to pop in and say that everyones sigs still
look so amazing and I'm really missing my lil community
here. Kinda wondering if I should come back. If I do it'll
be pretty low key since I have a bit going on this summer
and my main priority is spending a bunch of time with
my girlfriend hehehe.

Gah I miss making signatures. Gave me something to do
other than looking at art projects and managing to mess
them up RIP.

    I do, welcome back friend. I hope to see you around more often.

    Speaking of veteran ideas... Maybe running the best signature maker contest once every 6 months or so might not be a bad idea for veteran coders and experienced coders. Would this be something people would be interested in? I will host, and not enter. And so far these would be the rules:

    - All Tess rules apply
    - You must use your signature for the duration of the round. (A round lasts 3 days)
    - Anyone can enter.
    - You must link to the contest thread in your signature with 'Best signature contest' that you submit to me
    - If you wish to enter, please gif screenshot you signature or just plain screenshot the signature.
    - The judging will be based on user input, anonymously done by the use of the poll. The top 4 or 5 from each heat will move on to the next round
    - You will be disqualified if you advertise to vote for you, advertise the thread, not you.

    This idea is from a previous signature contest which ended up disappearing. I will renew this and make it quicker. The prize will be a list pet of some description and you can personally endorse yourself for your signature shop and coding. (A bragging right which might help with you being able to increase your prices for your signatures, maybe build a reputation somehow? Idk, but I think this would be appealing to the community.)

    I see you gods. I see you there.

And I think the signature contest is a great idea!
I miss having some friendly competition going on,

@asteria

Woah. Just woah. I really, really like your signature, being somewhat of a Vocaloid fan. I really like how the little accents of pink in your text brings out the headphones (at least that's what I think they are) in Miku's hair. I also love the way that it's so organized... Something that I can only hope to achieve with my signature derp.

@totally not patronus

Aah the blue squares on the left and right of the signature looks really nice with the pale blue dog! However, on the laptop that I'm currently using (A Dell), the blue squares on the right are being pushed down. I'm pretty sure that's not supposed to be intentional, but otherwise, it looks terrific!

@kaplantai

Holy mother of sweet tomatoes- That signature. It fits so well, it's so cute, and I can basically go on and fangirl over it all day. My one concern/issue/whatever is that the image of the girl is kind of blurry- At least, I think it's a little blurry. But nonetheless, the image is still clear enough so that you can make out to details, so I guess it technically isn't that big of a deal? Idek

So um, I'm back after 50 million thousand years four-ish months of a hiatus. Long story short, my old laptop broke, and now, I'm just borrowing the laptop that I'm currently using from a family member. Anyways, I made a new signature, and I would like opinions on it!

I think people may know me better as APH-Romania, but honestly it's been such a long time that I'm not sure if people even remember me-
