The big problem I see with Wesley's confession is this banner.
Like why is the star gold while the trail is rainbow?
Or where is the star going anyways?
And why it is taking the letter W with it?
Also that sentence isn't even complete! The more you know.....??? The more what!? The greater likelihood of avoiding shooting stars with questionable rainbow dust? I know they can be sharp deadly fast moving things. And dust can be toxic if inhaled. Indeed maybe this is more meant to highlight Meteor Awareness or something. Not sure how this correlates to giraffe cats...

Now if you'll excuse me, my head hurts and will be taking aspirin....

i've fed a giraffe before, it was super fun!
and whoa is this kitty awesome! love their eyelashes and tongue :o
she hasn't grown yet for me, but the outcome is <3

I think, like many others, I like the middle stage for this kitty more than the adult stage. I don't really have a problem with the tongue, actually it's the eyes that look a bit odd to me, and I like the midstage cat lineart more than the adult. Still, it's pretty cute, plus the reveal in the CS tag is cool!

'the more you know' star and rainbow are/is actually a uh, i dunno, reference? it's not a clue to anything. it's just a funny little thing that people and shows use for jokes

Thank you all (and many more) very much for your kind comments! It has been an... awful week to say the least, and I was very anxious about my kitty growing tonight. Today's growth date holds special meaning for me - I chose it because it was my late mother's birthday. Emotions are running very high for me right now and seeing all of your kind compliments has me tearing up. *u* I am excited to see how this kid is dressed up. I tried myself but, eh, I am not sure how I feel about the dress-up yet. ovo


I am sorry to anyone who I disappointed with my adult outcome, but there is bound to be some differing opinions with such a large user base. I made some artistic decisions in designing this fellow - namely, the tongue is modeled after an actual giraffe tongue, and the lopsided ears are intentional. It's sort of a trademark of my art style. This being said, I have of course never made a pet before and by no means consider myself an artist, so I am very proud of pulling this off, personally!

Edit: Any name for this adorable one?

I have dubbed the darling Sam, after a giraffe that I fed in a little zoo a few years ago! He licked my face 'v'

ohmygosh this is so cute <33 the tongue is a nice, bold touch !!
I think the only thing that puts me off is the ears. At first, I thought the lopsided ears were awkward, but now I realize they're perfect for sticking a flower or accessory on the lower positioned ear x3

I'm going to name mine Nelly after the giant giraffe plush I have standing at the foot of my bed, which in turn is named after a giraffe from a Merrie Melodies cartoon who wanted to be an opera singer.
