(Leopardstripe and Stripestar got into a fight over Cloudgaze so Leopardstripe left and threw himself into the river, hoping he would die or wash up onto an island.)

Cloudgaze quickly picked Skykit up and brought her back into the den. "Don't go out without my permission." She scolded the kit before licking her to try and remove any moisture that might have gotten on her pelt due to the rain outside. Her ears perked and swivled towards Leopardstripe when she heard his voice and she stopped grooming to ask, "What?"
