Sunstar smiled. "I want you to get some rest now Foxpaw. And no training for you tomorrow either, at least not until Dawnpaw or Hazelcloud looks at you in the morning." The leader gave him a look that silenced any protests. "Keep him quiet Shadowpaw." She padded out of the den, muttering to herself. "I hope Hazelcloud gets back from wherever StarClan sent her." She looked up and suddenly remembered the kittypet. She bounded over to him. "Toxin! You can sleep in the elder's den tonight. Our last elder died recently." She indicated the den with a flick of her tail. "I guess it's a good thing all our cats are young and healthy, right?"

Hawkclaw pricked his ears. He heard Birdfeather coming, and she was coming fast. He spotted her weaving through the trees. "Hey Birdfeather! How much prey did you catch?" Hawkclaw called out to the older she-cat.

Toxin's gaze flickered about the camp before Sunstar addressed him. The large tom nodded before flashing the leader a half-smile. "Are you saying I'm not young and healthy?" He asked in a totally teasing manner since she had him sleeping in the elders den.

Dawnpaw carefully put the left over herbs away in their proper place inside the medicine cat den. He couldn't think of anything else to give Foxpaw right now to help him out except for maybe poppy seeds to make sure he rested but the tom didn't think that would be necessary. For now, he would just wait and check on him in the morning.

Toxin chuckled at the comment. "Oh I can be quite energetic when I want to be." He meowed, a blatantly flirtatious hint to his tone. Unlike most kittypets he knew, Toxin frequently wandered quite far from his home and particularly enjoyed running and leaping. He thought of himself as quite the energetic tom.

Sunstar raised an eyebrow. "Anyways, you go get some rest. I'll be in my den." She padded over to her den, and once she was in, she slumped down in her nest, exhausted.

Toxin had hopes of being able to interact with the leader for a bit longer as he assumed the other clan cats would be as welcoming towards a kittypet as she had been. He gave a soft sigh after he saw her disappear into a den before he trotted off to the elder's den. He frowned as he looked around the empty den. This was most definitely not the soft sleeping surfaces that he was used to at home. The tom eventually curled up towards the back of the den and shut his eyes in an attempt to sleep.

Sunstar felt claws slice her belly. She looked down. Nothing. Claws battered her ears. Looking up, she saw no one. She was shoved, and she fell to the ground. Jaws tore at her flesh, and claws battered her body, while the ground seemed to open up beneath her. She was falling, falling, falling-
Sunstar jerked awake, panting. She looked around. She was in her nest, in her den, and there was no one else around. She jumped to her paws and padded out into the clearing. Everyone was in their den, calm, and sleeping. Sunstar shook her head. Your Clan is safe, go back to sleep! But the leader couldn't shake the feeling of being watched. She turned around, letting her tail droop, and padded back to her den. She eased back down into her nest, but couldn't sleep. The leader stayed awake the rest of the night, staring at the entrance to her den.

She caught sight of the tom and immediately snarled, claws outstretched and ready to tear into his fur. "You stole my prey!" the enraged she-cat shrieked and lashed her claws out at him.
