Cloudgaze gave a slow nod before touching her nose to one of the sleeping kits in the nest. She had made sure that none of them had even been touched by the loner but she was still worried. What if one of them had gotten the idea to try and run off like Beetlekit and Ivykit? Well, they had been taken more than ran off but still. She couldn't live with herself if one of her kits managed to run off to be with some other she-cat.
