As for customs, yes you may invent mutations but it costs more. Such mutations have a chance of appearing in the wild though (although slightly different), with the owner's permission ^^

Even if my letter for Aza's contest doesnt win im still glad I wrote it :3 and im glad I showed it to my guy hed been having a tough day (being stressed, exausted and depressed at the same time is not good luckily he had me around to at least cheer him up a little bit) he said the letter made his day :'D

I'd say no, as there is a drastic difference between, say, smaller ears and a total body-structure change.
