Sunstar sighed with relief. "You're okay," she breathed, her anxiety quickly fading. "Let's get you back to camp. The sun's already set." She looked up at the moon, glistening on the horizon. She turned to Dawnpaw. "Think he can be moved?"

Hawkclaw sniffed the air. He's caught two mice, a squirrel, a crow, and the catch Birdfeather'd caught. He scented a vole this time. He crouched down, and scanned the undergrowth. There. He spotted it cowering under a bush, looking around desperately for its predator. Hawkclaw sneered, then leaped, grasping its neck with his claws. It squealed, loud enough to be heard in StarClan. He killed it with a bite, and carried it back to his prey. He unburied the prey he'd caught, six in total, and padded back to the tree they were to meet at.

Sunstar shrugged. "Let's bring Foxpaw back to camp now." She picked up the apprentice, groaning with the effort, and put him on her back. She nodded to Toxin to follow. "You're heavy Foxpaw!" She said cheerily, but there was still worry in her mew. She stumbled back to camp, and put Foxpaw in his nest.

Foxpaw
He stared at Sunstar and licked a bit of fur on his shoulder. "It's all my muscle," he bragged. Shadowpaw padded up to him and sniffed at his fur. "It's fat, if anything," the dark furred apprentice teased.

Birdfeather
She glanced back in the direction of the tree. It was time to meet up. Grabbing the squirrel, she began dragging it with her and stopped on the way to dispatch of a nest of starlings. "What's that trick the elders always mentioned to carry a lot of prey... Oh! Wood!" she exclaimed as she remembered what the stories. Looking around, she finally found a large piece of wood laying around and dragged it to her prey so she could carry it. The two starlings and their two half grown chicks barely fit since the squirrel was so massive but she managed. Returning to where she had buried her shrew earlier, she found it missing with Hawkclaw's scent everywhere. "That piece of fox-dung!" Birdfeather exclaimed and rushed to the meeting place, not bothering to take her prey with.
