My baby Merlin has gone missing... We moved house, and he escaped. He hasn't been back in a week. He has never been gone longer than two days before. I miss him so much and I don't know what to do. I've tried asking around and the authorities are no use, neither are pet websites and neither is the pound. I'm losing hope I'll ever see his sweet little face again..

One of my friend's cats left for a solid year and came back. Cats are resourceful.

i held ella down tonight and dematted her, she was spitting at me the silly goose

wow, i hear cats really don't like combing/bathing?
i don't have a cat but i've done a lot of research, and as soon as we get back to my house and out of hot, humid Flo Rida, i'm getting a cat asap!

Ella hates being dematted and anything other then being brushed with a furmanatior
but i need to demat her and take her to the vet for her shots so it's geting done even if i get spat at.

It's not your cat. You can't keep it just because you want to.

That was never the case. It was my sisters cat and she was just going to drop it off the shelter because she simply didn't like it anymore. (I must have quit CS shortly after I made this post, ahaha. But to clarify never stole this cat or had any intention to. My sister frankly just hates animals and my parents got this for her as a 'therapy' thing but she didn't really take care of it. Even let it out once and didn't care.)

It's not stealing when the person leaves the pet and never picks it back up.

Yeah, I agree. If you know the owner, then I think you should give it back.

I mean the owner never picked up the cat and was going to take it to a kill shelter anyway.
