Hoard Discussion Thread v.5

I just love taking hours editing a trade, making it nice and fair (overpay even) for a bunch of hoard pets, and double-checking to make sure you follow all your partner's rules...and then the literal second after you send it the person cancels with just a "no thanks". Like, did you even look at the trade or what? Why do I even bother trying to make trades fair if they aren't even looked over?

And to answer my own question from earlier:
If you could create a pet to hoard, what would it look like? Species, colors, design, etc.?

I would really like a group of dogs based off of the Shadowhunters (TV) series. I love that show and having dogs that looked like the main characters, as well as one option that turned into a cat instead for Magnus, would make me extremely happy. Most of the people on that show dress in black so it likely wouldn't be too colorful a litter (except for Magnus' outcome of course because he's magical).

Awwww! I'm sorry that happened to you.

It stinks when you put so much time and effort into a trade... send it out there and they abruptly bat it back at you with a big fat cancel and you'd swear they canceled so fast they didn't even have time to look at it properly.

There will be other trades. That's what I always tell myself. Just move on.

As for the hoard pet you'd create... I honestly don't know.
Maybe a chicken that looks like my gold laced silkie cross, Luna. I'd probably just put them all into my big chicken hoard anyway though.

This is the closest pet I've found to Magnus, and I'm loving him! <3

Species: Fish.
Colors: It would be colors of all the LGBT+ Community flags.
Design: A small little white heart around the eye on each one.

I would alter the lion line arts to be griffins. I like the griffin dogs we have, but to have a legit griffin would be awesome. I would probably stick to natural eagle and lion colors, find combos that work well together. There would definitely be a lil PPS with his feathers still coming in! I think they'd be a hit and many others would hoard them too!

I would also love to make dogs based off of Clara Oswald's many outfits. And dogs that take colors and inspiration from Backstreet Boy album covers. Because these are the things I am trash for and dedicate my hoards to anyway so might as well make actual pets specifically based on them

Two nights ago a wolf was in my dream and I would love to hoard it haha. It was pure black with short, slightly matted fur. It had bright blue markings on its back/front leg shoulder blades and a saw blade sticking out of its upper left hind leg. Plus it was super big, it walked past me and my head only came half way up his chest.

totally agree with you, it'd be really nice to have real griffins, not dog-griffins. that would be an insta-hoard!

Oh lord I did it. I managed to bump my Cheetah hoard(s) up to 50 of each outcome.

My poor wallet is crying in a corner, I even bought some extras to use for trading and one set for my actual collection.

34 and it feels like i am slooooowly like hell ,_, But my hoard is growing anyways x) Phew, i love this 'thing' so much... sigh...

What do you all think about the pound-change? Do you think about starting a pound only-hoard now? Or do you already have one? =)
