He grabbed Coal by her hip and pulled her to him, "Look cant you see shes upset! Don't bring up Ella!" Quickly to keep her from dashing to 'Joey' He wrapped his arms around her waist and whispered in her ear, "Honey, Joey isn't real."

Ella heard movement behind her closed bedroom door. She hadn't even meant to fall completely asleep, she had wanted to be awake when they had gotten back, but she had failed.

Steve stepped into the elevator with Coal, Scott, Tony, and Arianna, he wordlessly pushed the button to the lab, and waited the few seconds to get there, "Scott, go check on Ella." He'd be lying if he said he didn't feel the slightest bit bad about the comment he had made earlier.
