"Well you see," Thyme shifted slightly closer to her, his voice dropping slightly in volume. "I just have no desire to see you get jealous, having to watch me flirting with some other she-cat." He purred softly. "It would just tear me up if that were to happen."

Part of him had been hoping the surprise would make her back down, but that had been a silly wish, really. He had known she wouldn't before he had walked over here. "Well," he drew the word out slightly, maybe just partly to give himself an extra second to think. This had, perhaps, been a mistake. "that would be why I am over here, currently, rather than actually following through on my part, would it not?" He questioned, his voice still low. "Though... I must admit. No one has managed to figure out how to get my brother talking. That makes you something very special. So perhaps..." he winked at her, "I'll just stay right here regardless."

listening to him speak, she felt smug, as she had just barely saw it coming that he might flirt with her. though that couldn't stop her from inching back ever so slightly, a surprised expression overcoming her smug one before she brought it back to normal. it took her a moment to regain her composure once again, thyme was much better at this than she had anticipated. "tricky, tricky." she muses, shaking her head and lifting her paw, taking on a more regal position so she could look down at him. "how charming of you, thyme that stays when others fade." she purrs, purposely using his full name of course. "who knew you would've fancied i, petal?" she muses, giving a soft shake of her head
