Decided to make myself a rough and tumble bearsona mascot. Their name is Silver (surprise surprised)

They are simple for animation purposes, and the little tuffs on the ears are for passing the silhouette test. Speaking of which:

For reference the silhouette test is too see how recognizable your character is. For examples, these characters here. You could probably name a lot of them. So I ask, if you made silhouettes of your characters how many of them would pass?

Are you bothered by slight differences between art pieces of your OCs? (i.e. if the 'official' pawpad colour wasn't on the ref and some art showed them one colour, and some art another colour).

If it's pawpad I actually don't care too much! Like others have said ,if its something minor I leave it alone. After all, I'm not that observant in other's styles and I probably wouldn't notice it if it were small.

However, since my characters are simple it makes it easier to spot those really big mistakes, so I would just ask them to fix it.
As for gift art I'd probably leave it alone, but it does become amusing when they miss a crucial part of a characters markings (that has a ref to point it out) and they still mess it up. Because it's gift art I can't even do anything about so even if that huge crucial marking isn't right I sorta have to leave it alone. Then again, the mistake IS pretty common so I suppose that just means you have to make a clearer ref in the future, probably.

How many characters of yours pass the silhouette test?
Not many, maybe 6-8?
I know for sure Stopsign-chan passes. Bingo might pass if someone draws her collar. Simon might with his unique body type. Snoot too!

How many characters of yours pass the silhouette test?

I just want to answer this question, but..I think Chio would, Mouat highly possibly would (their silhouette is all they have pretty much), Sergeant would. Most of my anthro characters would pass, and I actually only have a few simple characters who wouldn't succeed in my opinion. I actually try to keep my characters more simplistic (markings) and add more in the way of features. Even my angel dragon Flynn might stand up to other ADs.
