Hoard Discussion Thread v.5

i like hoards that are not all of the same pet but pets that are alike. for example i have a hoard of pets with multiple tail i think is more creative and fun then just collecting one specific pet. i also think hoarding a certain species is cool too.

I have a couple of Characteristic hoards and a couple of species hoards.
I don't know if I'd call them more creative exactly. Maybe easier. More laid back. I go around gathering them when my more specific hoards are too challenging. Except for the broad species dragon hoard. That one is proving quite stressful and disappointing and frustrating lately.

I believe I need to go find some chickens to hug...

And for whatever reason, I decided to use my rare fodder, not to complete my wishlist, oh no. That'd be too smart. I decided to hoard Spiderwing Butterfly Wolves instead.

Ahhh. Time for a hoard update/ explination. ^-^

Finally finished my Christmas Bear Mini Hoard. : I only went to 25 because well, Christmas is on the the 25th on December, so it just made sense.

My Cute Rodent Hoard. ^-^ : I just fell in love with these little guys and couldn't resist! Only one left to go before I complete my goal of 50.

I see you! : This one is taking me forever it seems. Still have 75 left to go. But the trading is fun, so I'm not complaining.

It's okay to be broken.<3 : I started hoarding them because of my past, and my battle with depression. I haven't set a goal, and I don't think I will. I really feel like this will be unlimited. Which, I don't have very many right now, but I adore them so much. <3

Lovely Neons : My goal was originally 100. But some lovely person on this thread, I can't think of who at the moment, gifted me so many of them when I was close to that goal, so now I have 200! This still remains my largest hoard. ^-^

Midnight Madness! : I absolutely love black cats, and have two irl. I am only 2 away from my current goal, but I will probably aim for more than just 25. These also seem to be rather hard to get.

Oh Deer! : Of course, the new PPS deer lineart was too adorable not to hoard! I will probably hoard every PPS Deer I can get my hands on from now on. cx

Orange Dream. ^-^ : I'm not that big a fan of the color orange, but these to outcomes ended up being my favorite of the 2015 staff litter. They have also inspired me to maybe hoard one-two outcomes of every staff litter. Oops. Haha.

Rest In Peace Loki. <3 : I'm sure the name kind of explains itself. These outcomes are so beautiful. Just couldn't resist, esp after losing a kitten late last year. <3

Smile! It looks good on you! : Finally completed this one as well. ^-^ This litter was too adorable not to hoard! Once they hit "full grown, they made me smile.

Springtime Love : I'm not usually real big on flower patterns. Like at all tbh. But I don't know, these just kinda caught my eye. I haven't really set a goal yet, this might just end up being a mini hoard.

The "HOO" Cats : Just another one where I really loved the design, and couldn't help myself. This is also a completed hoard. ^-^

My all time favorite CS Pet. : I'm still trying to come up with a good name for this hoard. This was the first pet on CS I really fell in love with. I had gone MIA for a while from this site, for a few years really, (I couldn't remember the name of this site for the longest time oops) But anytime I thought of this site, this pet was the one that came to mind. <3 The colors are just gorgeous, and the face it makes reminds me of my goofy personality, plus this staff littler came out in Nov, which is my birth month. I would love to eventually have a few that were adopted on the 24th, if they even exist. cx

Honestly, I didn't understand the point of hoarding, until I actually started a hoard of my own. I've come to realize it is very addicting, and that completing a hoard makes me feel so accomplished, and also makes me want to push myself to aim higher. I want to congratulate everyone on hoard progress, and for those struggling, don't give up. Once you complete your hoard, you'll love those pets even more! cx

Just a quick update on my hoard progress!

I've finished my Garrus Vakarian, Into a Man, The Eight Legged Beast and my It's Hamtaro Time hoards recently, and am only one more Butterflywolf away from finishing my Before The Last Petal Falls hoard as well!

I'd create a candy themed bat, something with a lot of bright colors and maybe some subtle line edits. I'm not great at describing things x'D

I just don't feel like there's a lot of very colorful bats with line edits besides this one, and it's colors are kinda toned down

Thanks to a quitting user, I finally hit 1K on my drafts!! The Red Riders has 1,000+ riders!!!!!!! My first 1K hoard and I couldn't be happier.

I'm pretty tempted to continue my elven hoard, but I'm not fully sure, I might just start a new hoard, but I might. That or find a new elf hoard and the flowers might be my new elf hoard...I don't know, I might do both, the first ones are just from 2015. I haven't decided...And I have started too many hoards for my own good, but I'm so excited right now I can't help myself!!

I would do a draft horse hoard. I think the hoard would be very colorful, something not normal like evil draft horses! It's not colorful, but like the dangerous drafts/Halloween drafts, red eyes and everything!

Haven't posted in here much lately as all of my pet hoards are finished,
but after going through the archives i've just seen how pretty the cat
line arts are and I think i've found myself starting a hoard some of them!

but I am torn on just hoarding the PPS line arts or hoard the adults as well x.x
