me and my dad are driving out for around 45 minutes to see a special avian doctor who specializes in budgies. im really worried about my little guy, but i hope this vet can figure out what's going on with him, and we can get him back to the happy budgie that he used to be!

I talked to my mom and I don't think I can convince her to get me another cage.I'll try but I don't think it's happening...

well keep an open mind.. Its either one more cage or 5 more in the future when your birds breed and have babies. Make sure she knows its for the best and will prevent them from breeding and making 10 more birds.

Yea I told her everything that you told me.My dad is more of a animal person than my mom, but he probably is going to think we don't need a another cage.My mom says 'They would've already bred if they were going to....' and my dad says 'We don't need another cage....'.What time of year do budgies breed?I got all my budgies in like, November or December of last year.

Breeding season is now.. They wouldn't have bred back then, now is the time. You really need to separate them if you don't want babies. A 75$ cage is cheaper than raising babies!

I hope it turns out well too! I'm glad you are willing to spend the money it will take to make sure even the smallest of parrots is in good health! A lot of people don't.. He has a very good home (:

I would say if your parent say no try tell them there will be babies if they don't get another cage or keep asking or just try save up for one.
