Hello! Welcome, one and all to Hyrulian Gypsy's Summer Event! Before we get too
far into this, how about I explain what's going on!

Over to the left is my lovely assistant, Izanagi Kamui. I'm trusting that he'll be able
to help each and every one of you in getting your dream yearling from the herd of
rowdy young horses we have here! I hope you're ready to go over the rules first!

Rules;;
1. | Throughout this entire event you are only allowed one event Gypsy! Said Gypsy will not
be fully considered yours until all tasks are completed and judged.
2. | Effort is to be put into these tasks that will be given. This will be ending
September 13th, so you will have plenty of time to work on these and put effort into
them. For writing we ask a minimum of 500 words per task and for art we are asking a flat
colored full body per task. (You can do one or the other) However, you are allowed to do a
mix of art and story for each task which changed requirements to 300 words for the story
and only a flat colored headshot. (All art and stories must be done by you, you will be
automatically disqualified and striped of your Gypsy should we find out you cheated.) At
least half of the given tasks should be completed by the end of the event. Once the event
is closed, you may no longer work on the tasks. Please post or link completed tasks under
your event Gypsy's adoption page.
3. | You will get your Gypsy by filling out the form provided. In the next post you will be
provided with said form as well as given the restrictions on what is allowed in this event
for coat colors and patterns.
4. | This rule is important, if at any time you quote your form, post about how your
form has not been claimed, or send a complaint to me or any of my artists about it not
being claimed before I say it's okay to PM me, you will not receive your Gypsy and
will be taken out of the event before it's even claimed and made.
5. | Once your form is claimed, the artist who claimed it will ask you to strike through
your form. Be sure you do this as to not confuse any of my artists helping in this event.
6. | Event Gypsies cannot breed until after the event ends. Should they breed before
the end date and produce a foal, they will lose all their breeding slots and become sterile.
As the owner, you are to keep track of this, not just my artists.
7. | If you have read all of these rules please post with your form that Izanagi has certified
you to bring home your yearling!
8. | These are subject to have more added and be changed at any given time.

So long as you follow all of these rules and the next set, things should run smoothly
and you should have your beloved yearling in no time! I'm going to hand things over
to my awkward demon, Izanagi, now~

*shyly looks down at the paper in front of him* Alright.. So Seoul gave me this paper
and she wants me to tell you all of the tasks you'll need to complete before your
yearling is officially yours...

So please, bear with me here... *starts to ramble off everything you're supposed
to know as fast as he can so he doesn't have to talk for long*

⦔ First meeting - This is when you'll meet your yearling when you come
to pick them up at the official Hyrulian Gypsy barn.
⦔ Taking home - Seoul wants you to let her know what the ride home was
like, and how unloading them went.
⦔ Settling in/making friend - She also wants you to let her know about
any friends your yearling might have made at your stables.
⦔ Halter breaking - *perks up* I think I'm more interested in this than
Seoul is, I'd love to know how halter breaking your yearling went! Maybe I could
tell you about the time I first halter broke my own horse!
⦔ Green breaking (either all tack, or break it into steps?) - *goes back
to being quiet* Seoul would be interested in knowing how the general breaking of
your yearling went. Let her know how you introduced the tack to your Gypsy.
⦔ Green breaking w/ rider - *giggles to himself* Seoul wouldn't mind at
all if you let her know how it went once you mounted your Gypsy for the first time.
Actually, everyone over at the official barn is curiously, let us know!
⦔ First training - *studies the next task before looking up at you with a
blank face* Let us know how and what you did with their first training lesson. Did
you just go over basics, or did you jump right into getting them to learn their
picked discipline?
⦔ Bonus image/story (free space) - *scratches his head* Dang it, Seoul..
Why do you make my job hard.. *looks back up at you with an awkward smile* So
for this one just let us know something fun you and you yearling did. Or maybe
your yearling wants to let us know how the whole going to a knew home went?

*lets out a heavy sigh* Seoul explained the rules for these tasks up in the main post,
so if you haven't read them yet, I highly suggest you do. She can be a little... feisty,
when people don't follow rules. For your own sake, just check them out if you haven't.

that we're now at the part where you get to pick your yearling. There's quite a
lot to choose from, so fill out this form and my friends will find the Gypsy that
you're looking for! *hands you a clipboard with a form attached* The first page
is just a list of the kind of Gypsies we know we don't have here at the moment
looking for a home.

Event Yearling Semi-custom Rules;;
⦔ You only get to tell us either a specific pattern or coat you're looking for.
Not both, only one or the other. If you do it wrong you can expect a notice
from me.
⦔ If you pick a specific base coat you want, give us three patterns that
you wouldn't like to see and we'll find you a gypsy without any of those
patterns but with the given base coat. (it's okay if you have less than 3
disliked patterns! 3 is the max though, no more than 3!)
⦔ If you pick a specific coat pattern you want, give us three base coats
that you wouldn't like to see under that pattern and we'll find you one
without one of those base coats but with your specified pattern. (it's
okay if you have less than 3 disliked base coats! 3 is the max though,
no more than 3!)
⦔ You must use the form that we provided for you! Any other form
will be ignored.
⦔ Remember to strike through your form once you've been claimed.
⦔ We do not have Gypsies with any of these following coats or
patterns, please read this carefully before submitting your form to
Izanagi;; Chimeras, Somatics, Brindling (of any form), Macchiato,
Manchado, Irregular Patterns, Shaped Patterns, Any Special Markings,
Dominant White Mutations, Gene Bombs.

*Raises a brow as you look up at him* Did you get all that? If you have any
questions whatsoever, feel free to message Seoul. She'd be happy to answer
any of your questions, and she doesn't want you posting your questions on this
thread. You got that? You'll probably get a warning if you post a question on
this thread.

*Points to the clipboard* Alright, flip that page and fill out the form so we can
start on getting you your yearling. If you haven't read the rules on the first post
yet, be sure you do so, because those are very important if you want to get your
yearling without any issues.

with it. These are just some frequently asked questions we get from people who
come here to get lost and found yearlings from us.

⦔ I can't draw humans!!
That is perfectly fine! You don't need to draw humans at all if you do choose to do
art.

⦔ How do I know which Gypsies are Event Gypsies?
- That's easy! They will have some sort of brand on them. On their neck if they
have a long mane, and on this shoulder if they have a short mane!

⦔ Am I able to request the mane length of my yearling?
- Sorry, you can't! That will be completely up to the artist to allow variety within
the yearlings!

⦔ Am I allowed to have someone else do my art or stories?
- Please refer to post #1 for that rule. As a refresher though, you may not, and
should I found out you did will result in immediate disqualification from the
event and your Gypsy will be rehomed in the readoption event at the end of
this event.

⦔ Can I choose which artist claims my form?
- You may not. It will be at random which artist claims your form.

⦔ Why hasn't my form been claimed yet?
- We all have lives outside of CS and this event, please give us time.
I will be checking the thread as often as possible to find any forms
that have been left unclaimed. Whatever you do, do not quote your
form, pm me about it until told you can, or post the question on the
form. It could also be being ignored for a specific reason that you
would know about if you had read the rules properly.

⦔ My form has been claimed, but my Gypsy hasn't been made yet?
- Refer to above question. We all have lives outside of CS and this Event
you will get your Gypsy, don't worry.

⦔ Why did I get banned/disqualified from the event?
- You either; (A) quoted your form, PMed me without the go ahead posted on
this thread, or posted a question asking about your form on this thread. (B) Had
someone else do your art or story for the event. or (C) failed to follow any of
the important rules.

⦔ What do I do if I don't understand a rule or the event?
- Please PM me asap! I swear I don't bite, whatever Izanagi has been telling you
is a lie. *behind me* is not.. Ignore him. Seriously, if you have a question
my inbox is always open!
