She let out a screech as the branch snapped, sending her falling to the ground, landing on her paws in the soft grass in the corner of the camp clearing. She shook her paws, as they stung slightly from the fall, glancing around in embarrassment.

Birchleaf turned her head towards the noise,"Maplepaw!! What where you doing up there?! You could've been hurt. " she scolded the young she-cat. "Anyway.. Today I'm having Thistlestar watch our training session as a.. Special guest. Show him what you can do. " she meowed flicking her tail towards Thistlestar.

The calico dipped her head. "Sorry Birchleaf..." she mumbled as she bounded lightly over, her tail swaying behind her. "What d'ya want me to do? Battle? Hunt? Swim?!" she said, enthusiasm filling her voice as she mentioned swimming.
