Patric heard it start to rain, and decided to check to make sure the doors belowdeck were tightly closed so that the supplies wouldn't get wet. When he left his cabin, however, he saw a sodden dark shape sitting near the gangplank. He took a few steps closer and realized that it was Ella, sitting in the rain, crying. "What's wrong?" he asked, nervous. He didn't really know how to deal with girls- the only sisters he had were still quite young.

Ella looked up. She recognized Patric. "Alexa's what's wrong." She said. She stood up and crossed her arms. She couldnt move much, the rain had frozen her.

Jessy saw Milo walking down the street. He remembered him from the pub fight. He ran up to him.
"Hey! Wait up!" He called out.

"What?" snapped Milo, angry at Alexa and freezing from the rain. He turned so he was facing Jessy and drew his dagger threateningly. "Just leave me alone."

Patric pulled off his jacket and placed it around Ella's shoulders, saying, "Well, you'd better come inside before you catch your death out here in the rain."

'Woah, sorry!" Jessy put his hands up. "I just saw you walkin' down the street. I made sure you didn't get attacked at the pub. 'Member?"

"Yeah, I remember," grunted Milo. "So what?" He tucked away his dagger and turned his back on Jessy, continuing to trudge away down the cobbled street.

"I dunno. I thought you might like some company." Jessy shrugged his shoulders and walked behind Milo. He stuck his hands in his pockets.

Ella smiled at the warmth. "I wouldnt mind reaching my death." She mumbled. She didnt want to live without Milo, but if he found out she had died, he might do something to harm himself.

Patric frowned slightly and led Ella back to her cabin, stoking up the fire after closing the door. "I'm sure Milo wouldn't want that," he said, not knowing the full extent of what had just taken place.
