Storm lifted his head once more, and scowled at the she-cat. "They didn't Know they're Father that long to begin with. I knew Rain my whole life. And secondly, one of them hates they're other Sister! So before you go off saying that others have had this happen to them before, and that they're doing just fine, maybe you should think about what's REALLY happened."

Briar scoffed loudly, rolling her eyes. "They knew their father long enough, he's only been gone for 9 moons." She snapped. "It doesn't matter how long you know somebody, it still hurts when they're gone."

She flicked her tail in his direction. "Sorry I bothered trying to get you to do something other than mope around."

taking advantage of his temporary retreat to survey her own movements, she hunches low, her soft belly fur brushing the dirt as she slowly made as if to circle around the tom, her tail lashing back and forth. it was much more fun training with a new opponent, as it had gotten boring with her brother constantly as he hardly ever changed his strategy. suddenly she darts forward, maneuvering to the right before he could tell what she was doing and slammed into the tom's side, sending them both rolling to the right in a heap of fur

after helping get the goat back to the cave, he sits off in a corner, taking a moment to clean any of the dried blood from his pelt. after deciding he was presentable enough, he stands and pads towards sunteller and the group around her, sitting near the she-cat but not too close. "greetings, sunteller, mouse, moss." he says, nodding to each she-cat in turn before turning his gaze to mouse. "congratulations mouse." he murmurs, dipping his head in respect before turning his pale gaze towards sunteller once more

He let out a soft huff of air as she bowled into him, letting them roll for a second before using his weight against her to place himself on top when they finally came to a stop. His paw was at her throat, claws thankfully sheathed, though he honestly looked just the slightest bit surprised at this development.

attempting to wriggle free from under his grip, she lets out an annoyed huff, admitting defeat as he was too heavy for her to shake off, especially with how she was pinned under him. "you've got me!" she meows, giving a soft shake of her head, letting out a purr as she looks up at him, amusement evident in her expression. "you're quite good." she says, attempting to wriggle away, though it was no use until he moved

"... I'm a cave-guard for a reason." Sage noted, releasing her and moving a short distance away. "I haven't... trained with anyone beyond Thyme for a long time, though." He added idly, running his tongue over a paw before running that paw over his face.

letting out a mrrow of laughter, she scrambles up, shaking some of the excess dirt off his her white and tabby pelt before sitting and absently starting to clean herself, taking note that he had finally said a full sentence, and two at that. "i am too of course. i usually train with my brother, but i blame your win on your bulk!" she says matter-of-factly, fluffing up her tail and giving her a head a vigorous shake. "we should train more often, huh? i often win against talon since his strategy is easy to read, but you're a much better fighter." she chuckles, running her tongue over her slightly matted chest fur

"If I have an advantage, I'll use it," he gave a small shrug at that. "Thyme isn't a good fighter, just as I... am not that great at hunting. I actually had to think facing off against you." Sage stated with a hint of amusement. It had been fun, actually. "I would be alright with training with you again, I suppose."
