my mom has a friend who does the fostering program and whatnot so she always gets new kids and she's a hella amazing mom (if i ever wanted to be one, i would want to follow in her footsteps). she has one baby that she adopted, and he's in the middle stage of "should i call him a baby or a toddler???" and whenever he gets mad, he'll try to swipe things off the table and she'll say "ooo, yeah, that's it. show mommy! that'll show mommy! make another mess that mommy will have to clean up!"
