Emily Roberts

Emily took note of how suddenly the male's voice got bitter and aggressive, confused by this sudden mood change of his. Wasn't he all cocky and bored just a couple minutes ago? He must have some intense anger problems, for sure. Still not exactly someone Emily wanted to be hanging out with. Hearing the cat girl's groan, Emily silently agreed to feeling the same way. What was with this male's obsession with them, anyway? Couldn't he handle being on his own?
As cat girl spilled a few more questions, she glanced over to her as though about to answer but stopped as she heard her walking away. For a panicked moment Emily thought that she was being left alone in the dark with this strange male, but she breathed a sigh of relief as she heard the other coming back. For some reason, she didn't seem willing to strike out on her own, despite likely wanting to. Emily couldn't help but to wonder what was causing this possible internal conflict; was it something she'd said?
Returning her attentions to the male, "Look. I don't want or need your help, and I don't want or need to help you. If I were you, I'd stop dogging after us and let us on our merry way." She raised her wings slightly as she said this, hoping to appear threatening- although, with her small stature it was unlikely he'd be too intimidated by looks alone. Hopefully, the razor-sharp edge to her voice would be enough to make up for size. She hoped this didn't become a physical fight, as the chances were very slight she'd win against the large and angered male. With luck, her stern and frustrated words would be enough to get him to leave.

Eva settled back into her seat as Bae assured her that he was alright, but still looked worried for the dragon boy. He seemed to be breathing awfully shallowly; was he sure he was okay? Eva bit her lip, wondering if there was anything she could do for him. No, she told herself; he'd said he was okay, so he probably didn't want her doing anything for him.
She looked back to him as he asked why she was in the ward, and replied, "Oh, I was just dropping off some, um, some papers, and I saw you here. I, um, I hope you don't mind me disturbing you. You probably need rest, anyways... Sorry, I'll go if you want," she squeaked, hoping he wasn't upset with her for waking him up.
