Storm was trotting through the meadow, his ears pricked as he looked around. He was a bachelor, only a few years old. Normally a colt his age would have a very hard time with managing a herd, most didn't even think about trying and just stayed with other bachelors like themselves. Storm, however, was determined. Having a herd...that couldn't be too hard...right? He let out a loud whinny, calling out to any mares in the area.

Lullaby was alone, and she didn't like it. This is the first time she had been completely alone, she was still very young and preferred the company of other horses. She wanted to stay with her birth herd longer but her mother drove her away, thinking that she was ready to be out there on her own. She didn't know what to do, or where she was supposed to go now. Maybe she could find one of her older siblings? She let out a soft sigh. She was fine with finding anyone really, she just didn't want to be by herself. Should she join a herd? Is that what she is supposed to do?

Lucina grazed quietly by herself, her dark eyes scanning the area carefully for any signs of other horses. Then she raised her head, swished her tail and shook out her mane before lowering it to continue nibbling on the green grass. It was spring, mares were giving birth and going into heat and stallions were protecting and fighting over mares. She was not very interested in joining a herd at the moment, but she knew she was going to have to join one at some point. She remembered what her mother told her, to find a herd once she left her birth herd. Lucina knew it was dangerous to be alone, but she was hesitant to join a stallion. She didn't trust other horses easily, and wasn't fond of the idea of being around unfamiliar horses.

Kuroshura wandered through a large field and looked around. He had been away after being captured by humans and finally managed to escape but now his biggest problem was that he didn't know where he was.

The exotic looking mare looked up and spotted the stallion. She flicked her tail and stomped her large draft hoof. She bent her head to continue to graze but watched him as he walked over to her

The stallion smelled the air, the scent of the mysterious mare
was getting stronger. Comet walked towards the scent, ''Who's
there?'' he asked, wondering who the mare was.

He frowned a bit when no one answered his call. Perhaps this wasn't going to be as easy as he thought. He continued trotting around, searching for a lone mare or maybe even a herd he could try to steal from. Finally he caught sight of a mare grazing in the shade of a tree. Curious he made his way over to her, whinnying in greeting.

Storm studied the mare curiously. She had a beautiful dapple roan coat and seemed to be around his age. She also appeared to be alone which was perfect for him. "Hello!" He grinned, halting once he was only a few feet away. "I don't believe I've seen you before...My name is Song of Storms, though everyone just calls me Storm. What's your name?"

Gin looked at the stallion again and nickered, "Hello." She flicked her tail and continued to graze but secretly watching the stallion's every move. She seemed pretty carefree but she really wasn't. "I am called Gin no Mangetsu." She snorted, not wanting to reveal her normal name.

"Huh, that's a cool name, though it's kinda long. Can I call you Mangetsu? Or Gin?" He asked, tilting his head slightly. He then glanced around briefly, checking the surrounding area for other horses before turning his gaze back to her. "Are you alone...? I don't see a herd with you." He assumed that she was a lone mare, but he decided to ask just in case.

"Yes I have no herd. Call me Silver Moon." She nickered

"I'm Carpe Diem. Who're you? Why do you smell weird?" Day whinnied to the unfamiliar horse. She warily poked her head out from under the tree to try and catch a glimpce of it.
