YOUR QUESTION:What qualities do the inner planets have in common? What is one unique characteristic of each planet.
Here is a website with information on the inner planets: xXx For the answer to your first question specifically, find the picture in the middle of the article and then read the third paragraph below it (read all of it). It contains the answer your teacher is probably looking for. c:

TYPE OF QUESTION: Physics [pressure in liquids]
YOUR QUESTION: I've been revising the work I've done this year and I've found something that really confuses me- I have written that pressure in fluids increases with depth, hence why dam walls are wider at the bottom, but then I also have written that pressure in a liquid is the same at any given point, which is why you can use hydraulic machines to magnify a force. I'm just confused as to how pressure in a liquid can be both the same all the way through and greater when it's deeper? If any one could explain what I'm missing/how that works that would be amazing - thank you!
pressure in fluids increases with depth
The pressure is caused by the total amount of water above you/said item measuring pressure.
you can use hydraulic machines to magnify a force
Are you sure that you didn't mean the fact that you can't compress a liquid?
It is the basic reason why hydraulics work.

Ah thank you! That website really helped - my notes on this were pretty minimal so I think I just got the wrong idea, whoops!

TYPE OF QUESTION: English =^-^=
YOUR QUESTION:Hey so I understand this might be a bit of a difficult question so if I don't get an answer that's fine. I'm just super confused and was hoping someone could give me guidance as my mom can not.
okay so the question on my paper is "Explain how Gordimer uses diction or figurative language to reinforce the tone of the passage. Cite specific examples of the diction to back up your answer." I know what diction and figurative language is but I'm getting figurative language and similies mixed up. can anyone help me separate them from my mind with a few examples or some kind of explanation on the difference? sorry if this isn't very clear. I tried my best.
Thank you!
=^-^=
