Anyway, I really love Gabriel's big ears~ They make him such a cutie~ I use this generator to help me start getting ideas for my OCs names, maybe it will help you name your new character. I would offer some straight up names, but you didn't really give a gender/preference so I have no idea what sort of names to toss at you.

Smokeskin is my (Skyrim) OC who i love to death, he's an argonian (lizard people) male and i've played with him as character for years now. I haven't fully made him a background story yet, but i do have his personality and current occupations worked out. I'm still very open to any suggestions though!
(I'm not sure if i should share his whole story as i could be considered spam. If anyone wants to know, feel free to reply)

So hiya! I'm not sure if i need to be accepted first before i can ask a question, but i don't think the rules said anything about it so i thought i could try;
So my OC 'Smokeskin' is kinda in need of a new name. He was originally a dark grey/grey-blueish argoinian (that's why i called him 'smokeskin', but in The Elder Scrolls Onlime; Tamriel unlimited i made him a vampire. And appearently, this makes him pastel pink. And though i like his new color, i feel that i should change his name (preferably in the 'argonian naming style'). I've been thinking about something like 'Paleskin' or 'palehide', but they don't seem to ring the same bell as 'smokeskin'. Sadly i don't have any art to show, since i'm crappy at making it, but i would love to hear your suggestions! So my question in short would be; how would you name a pink lizard man? (preferably in argonian naming style) If you want more information to decide for a name, please ask!

Favorite Character: Oh man... I've got so frekin' many its impossible to chose. Shall I pick three favorites in no particular order? Okay, 1) Moon. She's a dragon, in a story I'm writing with a friend. She's purple, and picks up a lot of scars through the book, as well as a slightly yellowy scale.
2) Gonna have to be Swiftpaw. (Thanks Afflated Artist for the art). He's an otter, the leader of a rebellion against the wolf king. (And yes, that is him in my signature. Again, thanks Afflated Artist)
3) Who else but Vanha Ruwan? She's a Twi'lek, from starwars. I created her in a roleplay, actually. She had purple skin, and uses a lightsaber.
Story and/or anything else you want to share with us: Right! Stories! Moon's story, Ah, I don't have one for Swiftpaw atm, and Vanha's story. Just a warning, none of them are finished. And I'm not sure if I'm going to finish Vanha's. If you want any more of my writing, here's my Wattpad account. Misfits of Vernada is there (Moon's story) and when I get more of Swifty's done, I'll post that there.

Merry is a newer character that I've fallen in love with. She's a wolf and a host to a demon. She has a glowing blue eye which she covers with a bandage. The demon can take over and cause her to become the actual demon.
Lyrae was one of my first characters that I made and she is a sassy purple wolf. She hates cheese and loves her top hat.

Sovanna's design is beautiful! I really enjoy the stripes with the color patches! It makes her look very unique. I really like Ronzo's revamp, the scarf add a lot of character and the slight change in the stripes and designs make him look less busy, but still having the perfect balance of complexity and simplicity. I love the lioness' hair and in her revamp, I like her stripes.
Yeah, his whole species look pretty intimidating, especially the pups. And thank you! I've been working on my pixel art and I've improved even more lately.

I love the way you draw wings and your idea of the two heavens. The world that you have created seems very interesting and unique. I really like Procel's four winged look, it makes him look very unique.
Yes, Static does retain memory like that, but only with shows that they chose to record. Hailey enjoys designing new tails, so she projects many kinds of tails, many resembling other creatures and their tails. I actually haven't gotten to the part of the story where one race prevails, it pretty much writes itself in my head and I just put it into words.

I like the paint around Gabriel's eye a lot, The color really stands out with the color of his eye. For the unnamed character, I was thinking, maybe a name that starts with 'm' and they look like they would collect marbles.

ChaosCheesecake ~ Congrats on getting a dream character! I really like Russ's eyes and markings~ Since it's been about a week, have you developed more on Russ's personality? Maybe for Gianna's personality you could base it around the art she already has. It's also really cool to see a stoat character. I barely see any.

Theron is a super impulsive guy that single-handily ruins his own life. But, he's okay with it (mostly). He makes a living off of scavenging parts from broken down machines between towns and making motorcycles.

Theron sounds like the bomb to roleplay with/write for. Is he set on Earth, or an alternative planet/setting? I hope the majority of bullets aimed his way have a tendency to miss him aha. But knowing nothing else about him, and being a really nosy-individual, I'll refrain from boring you with too many questions about his backstory :3

Really great to see a sudden influx of new members, and to get back here myself. I've actually just got back from a big blip in general online activity, and feel really refreshed and motivated to continue character development work.

When developing characters, what helps to influence you?

I guess that for me, i get influence/inspiration from video games a lot, as well as other peoples OC's. Most of my OC's started as game characters which i gave more of a background and personality. And sometimes i see things i like in other people's OC's that i like, and see if i can add it to one of my own

*When you have OCs that come from video games, do you usually keep them in the video game's setting?
I mostly keep them in their videogame universe, unless they fit in with another game or random universe. My human characters can cross over rather easily, as most games have human-like creatures and i like universa centered around humans. But the game specific races i tend to keep in their own game. Sometimes i put them in a different story line and universe for fun, but those wouldn't be things i considered 'canon' for my character.

For the new character, i would suggest the names 'nick' and 'marcus'. I don't know what kind of names you like, so i don't know if they appeal to you. Those are just two names that came to my mind

For the personality suggestion, i think Gianna looks really cute so maybe a cute personality too? Like maybe she'd like reading books with some hot coffee, likes to tend a little garden, have a thousands pillows on her bed and sleep till 12pm. Those are just suggestions ;p

I love your characters, especially Israfel. His design looks really cool. (i love those kind sof designs where the creatures are kind of humanoid shaped, but not quiet. And the body parts not being connected to the body while still floating next to it is really neat)
