I own three cats. Lenney is a black and white neutered tom, Pickles is a tortoiseshell female and Artemis (aka. Arty or the Ninja Cat) is a black neutered tom with a white underbelly.
All are moggies, but Arty is part Bengal. He's quite the Ninja and will attack your legs. He only wants cuddles when he says so. Sometimes I feel unloved *fake cry*
I so want a Norwegian Forest Cat (I believe that's what they're called). Have you seen them? Talk about fluffy!

Any reason why you want to get an expensive breed that are probably meant to be like, show cats or something, as opposed to just adopting one that needs a home?
I've met plenty of rescue cats. Usually they are around 200$ or seniors are around 80$ depending on your location. My grandparents adopted an almost hopeless case cat, who was abused and tossed on a phone wire, and got her tail stuck on it. ( which later had to be removed to get her off the poll, so she has a bobtail )
And even after going through a lot she's still only about 6 years old, really sweet and has been with my grandparents for 4 years with no problems. I've met her many times, and she's living proof that even the worst situations don't necessarily shape the cat. ( I'm not saying she wasn't shy or scared for a while, but she ended up the best cat my grandpa has ever had)
This might be a cheaper option then a ( I think I don't know) 1000$ cat, and sometimes they can even be better.

Not trying to be rude, but how do you know your cat is part Bengal? A "black tom with a white underbelly" doesn't sound like one at all, they can come in a few different variations, but the typical coloring is a brown with rosette spots.
Here is a pic of a typical Bengal.

They can also come in marbled coloring.

And here is a black and white mix breed cat.

@Dream
I said he's part Bengal, not purebred. I forgot to say that he has the patterns, just not fully visible. He was a rescue cat and they ran some tests - he has Bengal blood. It's only a little splash on his stomach. You can see his Bengal pattern when he's in the sun.

I'm just reciting what the rescue center said. And he definitely behaves like a Bengal. Is it really improbable that a rescue cat is going to have Bengal blood? Most rescue cats have mixed blood, a very small portion being purebred. I would say there's an almost certain chance that a majority of cats at the place we got him had Bengal blood, be it a small percentage or not. But, y'know, that's what the rescue center said.

I own 10 cats 7 indoor cats and 3 outdoor.
The 3 outdoor cats are my barn cats they are named Leo, Mr.Nice, and Mr.Shy. They are mixed cats. They do a great job of catching anything that tries getting into the the feed.
The 7 indoor cats are pets I have 3 Savannahs named Ruby, Luna, and Turbo. The other 4 are mixes called Baby, Lily, Ares, ad Chubs.
My Fav breeds of cat are: Savannahs and Maine coons.

It is possible that a Bengal kept as an outdoor cat could have mated with a stray or someone else's outdoor cat and produced a litter.
Although it is irresponsible to keep an unfixed cat as an outdoor cat, there things happen.

a pure bengal is expensive I don't think someone is just going to let their expensive cat outdoors
