"No, Bayou," Starkeeper replied aloud. She hadn't even bothered to check the mind of Chaoscaller for anything, though she was listening in on her thoughts.
"Just annoyance," she added, sending an annoyed glance herself at the odd-colored NightWing.

Bayou slammed Pharaoh to the stone ground, his burly figure easily pinning the SandWing down. "Pharaoh! Snap out of it!" he barked. "Is this really what Snowstorm wants? A life in exchange for her freedom? She'd never allow it." He lashed his tail, looking up at Starkeeper, and cursing slightly under his breath. No leads? Nothing?

Beluga: Beluga yelped, falling to the ground as her heavy tail thwacked him. "They never had this in the ocean but it's here in a zoo. A temperamental prisoner; she's one of the angriest, too" he cried, clutching his stomach and curling into a ball. "PLEASE SAVE ME, I'M DIEING. IT'S ALL HER FAULT" he said, moaning and rolling around in the cell. He, somehow, ended up right next to her with his face in the pool.

Pharaoh-
Pharaoh was breathing heavily out of his mouth, struggling against Bayou's strong talons. "But for all we know, she could be DEAD!" he howled, wrapping his talons around Bayou's forearms in an attempt to shove him off. "Because... of... HER!!!" He let out a loud screech, trying to twist his head around so that he could breath fire.

Chaoscaller-
Chaoscaller crouched, backing away from the unstable sandwing. Her whole body was racking with fright, like a puppy.

Terra thought for a moment, then said. "Why doesn't Hope go? I mean, she can camouflage her scales to her surroundings right? She could go find Snowstorm."

Hope snorted. "Puh-lease. There is no way I am going in that fortress of hell."

"Pharaoh!" Starkeeper repeated. She added more softly. "Snowstorm's alive."
Oh, like you're perfectly stable, she thought to Chaoscaller without looking at the NightWing.

Snowstorm intently watched Taleweaver, calming down, but her heart was still pounding a mile a minute. What would the NightWing do? She was pretty sure the NightWing queen wanted her for her powers, but for what? She kept wondering how they knew, how they knew. But a dark trail of thought ran under those, and she couldn't help it surfacing.
Did Starkeeper tell them? Did she betray us?

Removing the blade from her teeth, Taleweaver hurled it at the wall, where it stuck between two stone panels. It had scarcely missed Snowstorm's neck, but Taleweaver didn't mind. Striding up to her, she pushed her snout close and bent her long neck so that they made forced eye contact. "Do you despise Foreseer?" she hissed quietly. "Not just because she tortured you, but do you truly, genuinely hate her?"

Snowstorm narrowed her eyes, glaring into Taleweaver's. "I'm getting the vibe that you don't like her much either, " she growled, despite it being muffled. "What are you trying to play at?"

Bayou spread his legs out a little wider, so that he was pinning down the SandWing's front and back ones. "Didn't you hear Starkeeper?" he growled. "Snowstorm is alive. The NightWing only captured her. If there's any dragon you should be angry at, it's Foreseer for even giving out the order."

"Do you hate her?" Taleweaver pressed, laying her palms on the cold wall on either side of Snowstorm. "Tell me now while I'm being nice, or I'll search your mind," she lied. She didn't have telepathic powers, but she could examine the IceWing's possible futures.
