Moon lifted her chin, and looked the she-cat straight in the eye. "Should I really share words meant for your 'medicine cat' with you?" Moon used the strange words 'medicine cat', instead of 'healing cat', which sounded less odd. She tipped her head to the side. "Even if you are the leader," she added, hoping she guessed correctly.

Ivypaw blinked surprised. Not only was this she-cat a kittypet, she was arrogant too!

Fernstar narrowed her eyes at the she cat. "Well our medicine cat would just tell me what you said anyway." The leader replied. "And how can I say I trust you with our medicine cat?" She added. The grey tabby didn't want to mention how medicine cats couldn't fight, or Threeleg's missing leg, and so she kept it brief. There had been too many strangers wandering around CloverClan territory and Fernstar didn't like it. She couldn't just decide to trust one of them simply because they're a kittypet. The leader had even run into kittypets who could fight just as good as warriors. Where they learned it from, she had no idea.

Threeleg looked at each bundle of fur as she told him their names. "Those names are very beautiful and they match your gorgeous litter perfectly." He purred. Then he stood up and dipped his head to the queen. "I'm going out to get herbs, send a warrior to look for me if you need anything." He mewed before flicking his tail to Goldenpaw and leaving the den. "Crabwhisker? We're going back out so would you mind--" The tom stopped talking and followed his gaze to a sleek black she cat. Her fur was pampered and well groomed and she smelt so strongly of Twolegplace it made Threeleg curl up his nose. Kittypets!

Juniperfrost smiled and purred. "Of course we can." She chirped, turning around. "I heard Gullstep gave birth to them all by herself when Threeleg and Goldenpaw were away!" She mewed, eyes wide in astonishment. That must have been hard for the queen's first litter, but she handled it well and gave birth to four healthy kits. She began to trot away, curling up her nose as the kittypet scent was overwhelming and made her gag. The warrior looked back at Bramblewhisker and smiled, making sure she wasn't being too fast for him.

Sparrowpaw nodded and began to trot after Blueheart, excitement tingling his paws. He was so excited to finally be going out. He set off behind his mentor, although he wished he could dash off to the StoneClan border, no, the StoneClan camp and see Pinepaw. He would probably get in too much trouble for trespassing. He had another three days to go yet, and he was already wanting to see her now. The brown tabby closed his eyes, picturing the day he would need to choose between the StoneClan apprentice and Berrypaw, and that melted his excitement and he slowed to a miserable walk.

Aquilo smiled at the ginger tabby. "Don't be upset if they reject you, they are in a tough situation at the moment. If you want a better chance at being accepted, I would give them a few days. Oh, and don't just walk into their camp, wait until you are found by a cat. But the more obvious, the better." He advised, waving his tail in a friendly manner.

The appretience watched as the kittypet spoke with Fernstar but finally she choose to left and she went to Juniperfrost."I'm back.I just wanted to see what was going on.We can continue now."She said with a smile.

Moon nodded. "I get that, I guess there must be communication between the medicine cat and leader..." She said thoughtfully. She realized she was going off track. "Well," she turned back to the Clan cats' leader. "Could we talk alone then? As in, me, you, and the medicine cat, somewhere other than in the middle of your camp? I'm not comfortable saying what I want to say in front of all these cats." Moon questioned the she-cat. She thought her words sounded reasonable, at least.

Fernstar thought for a moment before nodding. Seemed reasonable enough. "We can talk in my den." She mewed before turning around and flicking her tail for the black fae to follow her. "Threeleg? Please come to my den. This she cat wants to speak with us." She smiled at the tom before padding across to her den. "I didn't catch your name." She mewed as she padded inside and sat facing the she cat, signalling with her tail for her to sit down.

Threeleg turned at a new voice. Fernstar was padding past asking for him to meet her in her den. He dipped his head in respect. "I'm coming." He mewed before looking at Goldenpaw. "If Gullstep needs anything come get me, I know I haven't given you much training when it comes to kitting." He mewed, licking the blind tom's forehead before hopping across to Fernstar's den, disappearing inside without knocking. He'd already been invited inside, so it would be pointless knocking. He sat down beside the left wall, looking from the leader to the kittypet, trying to ignore the strong odour coming from the black she cat.

Moon followed the she-cat into her den. "Moon," she replied to the leader's question. "My housefolk thought my fur looked like a dark night, but Night's an odd name to call a housecat. So they call me Moon instead." She realised this Clan leader didn't want to hear that. "Sorry," she added hastily, "I get carried away easily."

Blueheart walked towards the Stoneclan border. He was alert on any sounds and smells making sure they didn't miss a hunting opportunity or tresspassers. They made it closer to the Stoneclan bordere, here they had to be even more careful "Remember stay on this side we are only here to mark borders not to tresspass" he called back to the group.

Dustpaw nodded at Bluehearts call "Isn't this exiting?" he asked Sparrowpaw his tail waving in the air. He sniffed the air to try to catch a scent of prey but all seemed to be quite old "I hope we get to hunt soon" he mewed his paws tingeling of exitment.

Fernstar looked at the she cat. "Well, Moon," she mewed once the black fæ had stopped speaking. "Why did you come to our Clan?" She asked, the tip of her grey tabby tail flicking. She glanced at Threeleg, who seemed to be listening quite closely to the she cat, even though he seemed to be annoyed by the strong scent of twolegs.

Threeleg hopped across to Fernstar's den, disappearing inside without knocking. He'd already been invited inside, so it would be pointless knocking. He sat down beside the left wall, looking from the leader to the kittypet, trying to ignore the strong odour coming from the black she cat as he listened to her name and the reason she got that name.

Juniperfrost looked at her apprentice and nodded. "I think the elders den needs a patch up. We should help Sorrelpaw while Fernstar is talking to the stranger." She mewed as she trotted across to the young apprentice. "Hello Sorrelpaw. We're here to help you." She smiled at the smaller she cat before taking a long bramble tendril and beginning to help Sorrelpaw and Maplehawk patch up the den.

Sparrowpaw looked at Dustpaw and forced a fake smile. "Yeah, I hope we get to hunt soon too." He mewed with forced enthusiasm. He looked across at the huge mountains and searched the surrounding stony terrain for the familiar tabby tuxedo fur of Pinepaw. He couldn't see her and sighed. The apprentice knew he shouldn't be looking for her, getting himself distracted. He dragged his gaze away from the mountains and back down to the ground, letting out a miserable sigh.
