I'm liking the crimson & grey colours, and how symmetrical it is. One thing you could do is set the border's size to 150 (large) to get them to meld together.

really digging the neatness and how it's expressed symmetrically.
makes it v clean and neat! although, i do agree with tai and the repetitiveness
of the term 'friend'. i also think u could do alot more with the font, like editing more
symbols in there like instead of the word mackerel, u could replace it with a symbol of a mackerel(?)
overall the color scheme pulls the sig together and even tho its simple, it's v effective.

black and white theme is rly appealing to me atm and
the code manipulation is fantabulous!! however i do think
adding one contrasting color to some of the large fonts
would make a rllllyy big difference to ur sig! for example;
the word "beat" could use a different color in order to
make it effective ; o; <3

The server doesn't recognize some special characters, if you try to use them it'll give you the 'server is broke' page. That's probably your issue.

Generally you should use the Unicode on the Digitally Distinct page - it's exhaustive and they all work.

I went through all the unicode that I could find all over the site and added all the unicode that CS Servers recognize. IN addition, I re-arranged the thread so all the symbols have been given a post or two which is located here

I just hope it looks good and is more convenient for all.

@asteria; thank you for the comments! at the moment i cant do much about the symbol dropping down, but i have a solution in mind. thanks for letting me know! c: to get the box to show up correctly i actually took a screencap of it in the preview & edited it so it fits as an image (im doing a tutorial on this soon!)

@jyushi; thanks! gif artifacts are my enemy :') also thank you for the feedback on the font, i was thinking it might be too squished myself so the second input was good (and so i edited things)

@terrence; thank you! im glad you could get a good feel of the mood from it. as for black & white sigs, a fun thing to do with them to make them look good is to add a splash of one color (either in an image or in the text areas). i feel they often look better with the little bits of color, but not enough to overwelm

@zey; thank you! i had a good time editing the gif (if you cant tell.. my fav overlay is the ink). i made a few comments about ur sig over pm, but i really do like the image edit. the artwork on top also contrasts well with the animation. the little crown links are a nice touch, but theyre a bit hard for me to see at the small size. other than that, i like the organization of your bio; simple & easy to read! the statistics label is a fun addition.


on a side note, i was thinking of doing a join.me of me doing some edits & sig making stuff tonight. if anyone is interested lemme know? it will be in maybe half an hour to an hour?

Announcement

I have been given permission to create a coding based tutorial thread on how to make a successful shop, and it will be filled with all good and interesting tips from myself ad your fellow peers!
As of right now, I have only done a portion of this thread but it is a huge WIP alongside the DD revamp and any help is appreciated! As of right now it isn't a stickied thread, but if it is important enough it might become one for easier access.

Thank you for your patience throughout this time, I know there has been some negativity happening lately in regards to clients and signature shop owners and I am hoping this will bring awareness to the situation in the coding community of the do's and don't's of each situation.

I apologize on taking a long time to think about this idea, I have had a busy week in revamping things and scripting tutorials and other things for DD for the community.
