Jack wasn't under his blankets and he balled up. I got worried he was trying to hibernate, so I opened his cage and touched him. He started to huff, so I knew that was a good sign. I stuck my finger under his belly (his belly was a little warmer than usual) and he huffed as if I offended him. So sorry I was making sure you were warm enough, you little grump. >=c

Don't worry about it, animals never know our true intentions! Now for a word of wisdom, did anyone get confused between a hedgehog and echidna? I did when I was young, until someone explained to me. Anyone? Please don't tell me I'm the only one.

Even though I've never seen Sonic the Hedgehog, I never confused the two. I did watch a lot of Animal Planet as a kid and I do remember seeing an echidna, maybe on The Crocodile Hunter? I dunno, but a lot of people do confuse hedgehogs and tenrecs.

Well, I suppose I was never familiar with animals as a little kid. Meh. Where I live, its Winter so fellow hedgehogs are getting ready for hibernation!

Yep, I remember my friend from coaching was a hog mum. She showed me some pictures and they're were so cute! Anyway, Sometimes I wish I could hibernate. Hehe

Potatoanime- i never confused the two, i actually never really knew about echidnas when i was a kid xD and i played sonic >u< however i did often confuse porcupines and hegehogs, i knew they were different but i thought hegdehogs were as big as porcupines. oh boy i was waaaay off xD

I'm not sure the legality of hedgehogs in Australia?
Are they illegal to keep, or just to import?
