This story starts with the moon and the sun. A goddess and a God. The goddess was the moon that circled earth, the sun the God that watched over all of the people below, the people and Viscets too young and petty to know what was coming their way next. The goddess wanted children, and her inability frustrated her massively. The angrier she became the more wild the galaxy became to follow her emotions. Meteor showers danced through the endless day, for this was a time where the day was eternal, and the night just a myth. And as turmoil boiled in the ever changing sky, a turmoil boiled down on the ground, as two ancient tribes of Viscets battled to the death. And amongst the flight, one lone female hiding from the cries high in a tree, stared at the glittering meteors, and made a wish. The wish for her own children.
The female on Earth hiding away in the tree was so alike to the wild and angry Goddess of the moon. But the Goddess had everything the female did not, a mate, the galaxy at her command, millions of years to live, and magical powers. The Goddess had nearly everything in the world that anyone could want, and she was still angry. She still wanted more. The female on Earth stared at the sun, the ball of fire that glowed and gave life, in wonder. For if the Moon was the darkness, the Sun was the light. If the Moon was evil the Sun had to be good. The Earth female was the only one who believed there was a moon in the sky, and that when the moon came and showed it's pale face, the world would come the end.
The last of the three godly and ordinary Viscets that start this story is the God of the Sun. He is the mate of the goddess of the moon, and had powers too, including gifting those with pure souls with their wildest dreams, and casting the glow of the sun eternally on everyone, giving life to the world. The God however, was unhappy with his life, stuck up high in the galaxy with only his mate, the moon, for company. But the truth was that he despised his mate, she was threatening Earth. His precious Earth. He longed for another mate, someone who loved him. He closed his bright gold eyes, and made a wish. A wish for freedom for another mate. For love. And down on Earth, another Viscet dreamed the same thing.
There was one thing that was hardly known by the mortals on Earth, and that was that the gods could go down to Earth and hide amongst them as ordinary Viscets. The Goddess had an idea, and she was determined to.make this one work. She became one with her ordinary form, and rode a shooting star to the Earth. Her mission: to find a female Viscet to have her children with her mate. To give her the children she desired. So the Goddess rode to Earth, and the first face she saw the one of a Viscet sitting alone in tree looking up at the meteors dancing before the golden orb of the Sun.
Oh! Sorry. I'll... I'll come... down... The normal Viscet in the tree called down to the Goddess. Can... I... help you?
Why yes, little Viscet, yes you can...
